Pagliacci's is a very good pizza joint serving, well, most of Seattle from one of their many branches scattered around town. The pizza and other food are always good and fresh, but honestly what I like about them, or what rounds out an otherwise good pizza is their people. Pagliacci is staffed with really fine, helpful, and kind folks. It's nice to do business with people who seem to enjoy their work, who care about delivering a quality product, and have good values. So order a great pizza from some great people. Toss in a salad and some gelato, and you'll be a happy camper.

The good: this restaurant was close to our hotel, and the kids pizzas were just fine. Our caprese salad was delicious. Our prosciutto pizza came covered with . . . arugula(?), not cooked, just thrown on top. I love it when there is a little spinach or tasty lettuce cooked into the pizza but raw and on top was just not our thing.

Visited last month for dinner with our 13 year old daughter. Definitely kid friendly and lots of options though she orders off the regular menu. Fantastic cocktails-highly suggest the bourbon/grapefruit drink. Super delicious! Our appetizers were great, lots of flavor and great presentation. Main meal was just as wonderful. Will definitely be back!

Always excellent food and service - even when crowded and busy. Something for every taste on the Happy Hour Menu. Nice beverage options as well. All-in-all, the happy hour is a fine bargain. We like the smaller serving sizes so we can usually enjoy an appetizer, salad, entrée and dessert without getting overstuffed. Weâve been to Griardiâs dozens of times over the past decade and never been disappointed, whether for brunch, happy hour or a fancy celebratory dinner [larger portions, higher prices]. Nice to sit on the patio on a summer day or indoors in front of the fire on a rainy winter eve. Itâs also a place we enjoy taking our out-of-town guests. Theyâre consistently impressed and tell us how lucky we are to have such a reliable go-to eatery nearby. We agree!

Grinders Hot Sands is an Italian based restaurant in Shoreline, WA serving tasty, famous grinders, amazing pasta and soups that have a local following. Lunch and dinner daily. Beer and wine. Live music. Take out and order ahead available.
Being from New England, the sign "Grinders" immediately captured my attention. That's what we called "sub sandwiches" where I grew up. Expectations high, I hoped not to be disappointed. Well, disappointed was the last thing I was--my wife too. We've only been there three times since we discovered it, but each of our experiences (2 take out and 1 dine in) were outstanding.First, the food is amazing. The skill and care that goes into their preparation and cooking is obvious. During our third visit, I said to the server, "Your food is so good I was afraid it was illegal." And, speaking of the server, one gal was handling the busy Friday lunch crowd. She was great! Friendly, efficient, and professional. The restaurant is clean, has a unique personality, and a pleasant ambiance--a bit of a jazz theme, photos of Rat Pack in restroom. At the risk of increasing their customer base, making my wait longer for my grinder, I'm telling all my friends and family--not to mention, perfect strangers--about this place. Can't wait to go back.

Consistently, Saltoro stands out. Great food, drinks and service make this a regular favorite. Starting with drinks, the wine list is kept up to date with new additions. Stand out entrees include the pappardelle pasta, lamb burger and the roasted salted chicken. On this trip we had the pasta, burger and shared the Saltoro salad. The staff and service are top notch. No matter how busy, they are friendly and efficient.

We met 3 other couples here for lunch and it was good. Some meals were better than others but we all enjoyed what we had. They do have a gluten free pizza which was good and some nice salads. Quite noisy if they are busy.
