We went to the tazawako beer brewery and the adjacent Yupopo onsen with family, and had a really wonderful time. The food was delicious, and perfect for the cold winter day that we went on, and they have a lot of local foods like kiritanpo, and local sake brands that akita is known for. The staff are really friendly, and there is also all you can drink beer so you can try out the multiple styles of beer that they offer (including some that were recently recognized at international competitions). The drive here is also stunning!

田沢湖に行く途中にあり、赤いロンドンバスが目印となります。お店は蜂蜜を売っているところと、ピザなど食事ができるところと分かれています。蜂蜜はみろいろな種類があり、試食もできるので気に入った物を買うことができます。田沢湖や温泉に行った時に立ち寄ったらいいと思います。

I tried the homemade pasta with tomato sauce, mozzarella and eggplant. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the tomato sauce with melted mozzarella was delightfully tasty.
