We had an amazing dinner here, I highly recommend the ravioli with smoked burrata! It is also very nice to take a walk along the lake from town to the restaurant.

Whenever skiing in Alleghe and surrounding areas this restaurant is one of our favourite ones to have lunch. Good choice of tasty and healthy food (grilled vegetables, pasta...). In case of good weather you may sit on a terrace with sunbeds. Service is good, there are usually many people in this restaurant so count on that. Otherwise can really recommend it.

Really good food and marvellous pizza. We had escalope with a fantastic mushroom sauce, grilled beef that was perfecly grilled and a pizza. It was all good and rustic. Recommendable indeed. The staff was very helpful and welcoming.

This is a pleasant little place about half way along the road between Santa Fosca and Passo Staulanza. Simple meals, wine and beer. If there are a few of you and the sun is shining there can be few better places to lunch

Having a chalet in the Dolomites I have been several times to this family-run restaurant which also makes pizzas. My suggestions are the garganelli with sausages and the pizza family format for 4 people. Anyway all dishes are delicious and the staff very courteous. Prices are also affordable ranging from 15 to 25⬠per person.

This restaurant is almost at the top of the Giau pass. So, app 2000 m. Great outdoors seating area. Easy parking. Went with friends when doing a Photo shoot in Cortina. Everyone was super happy with Their food. I was the only only vegetarian person in the crowd but I got a great plate with grilled veggies and polenta with a leek soup as a starter. Would Love to revisit. Dear Mr. Per,Thank you...it was a pleasure having you all here at Malga Giau.Looking forward to having you once again in our personal, little piece of paradiseBarbara

This is a very small restaurant, with incredibly tasty food and cozy atmosphere! We tried several types of pizza, all were excellent!

This is a place where you would not expect a great restaurant - two hairpin bends down from a 2,300 metres high mountain pass, with a fantastic view of the Dolomites from the terrace, and plenty of sunshine until sunset. You would expect a mountain lodge offering sausage and polenta. But no, here you have great cuisine, ranging from the traditional dishes - albeit modernly interpreted, a bit of nouvelle cuisine - to innovative offerings, including fish (fresh and beautifully prepared) and fantastic desserts. Great choice of wines (in prevalence local or anyway Italian) and warm, informal but professional service. Prices are high but not excessive: every euro is well spent. Fantastic, we'll go again and again.

Winter and summer, a Family owned "Rifugio" where you can stop for a tasteful meal (homemade pies by Claudia) and enjoy a smashing view over the Civetta, Pelmo, and the tiny green lake of Alleghe. Warm and friendly welcome, you'll feel really at home!!!We would suggest ,in summer, the trail from Col Dela Chizza, through the woods, and the plateau with the small white Madonna statue, set on a rock,in front of the vertical Civetta wall !!breathtaking!Mickey, Mark,Max,Mara

Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking, they accommodated us even though they were busy. Staff was warm, pleasant and attentive. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Food made with more attention and care than other restaurants in the area, with a bit of "farm to Table" vibe. Definitely a good choice
