This pizza place is lucky to be located in an area where there are no other immediate pizza places. the regular pizza was okay - but the crust needs to be cooked more, the square was made with a different sauce(?) and completely blah. Sit down area is in the back, who would know if you didn't go looking. People rave about their cheap chicken night - but these must be cheap people with no taste buds. People in Seaford - you don't need to eat from a chain pizza place! We have the best pizza places around - go to one

Villa d'Aqua 2565 Bellmore Avenue, Nassau County, Long Island, New York.South of Merrick Road, it is blended in almost looking like 'another private house' that happens to be nestled in a residential neighborhood on a cozy waterway inlet overlooking the inlet bay. Quite charming cozy fine dining eatery with very attentive wait staff offering you a wide-enough menu selection with lots of variety to satisfy your palate. Decent portions of tasty delicious dishes. Even has outdoor waterfront dining when seasonal weather permits.

The meal was average. The lasagna was lacking is sauce and was presented haphazardly with noodles strewn about. It tasted to liked browned hamburger and cheese on noodles. My companion had pest chicken and potatoes. The pesto overwhelmed the chicken and the potatoes (and added an interest green color to the potatoes). Was excited to try it out, but won't return with all the other great Italian options available.

I stopped in for a regular slice of pizza. It was piping hot, fresh, and delicious. I will definitely return.

This is an excellent Italian restaurant in Seaford that is family run and has a comfortable feel. All of the food was very good, from the Fried Zucchini Chips, Fried Calamari and the Sweet Potato Gnocchi appetizers; to the Frutti di Mare, Rigatoni ala Vodka. Well worth the trip if you are in the area.

We stopped at Carmellaâs for a couple of slices while killing time in Massapequa. We were not disappointed. We ordered at the counter and ate at one of the outside tables. The white slices were excellent. We were divided on the Neopolitan and Sicilian slices - both were well made but my wife found the sauce slight sweet for her liking. Either way, the crust was excellent. We were especially happy to find that the people at the counter were very pleasant and really make you want to come back. We will do so when in the area again.

This is a gem of a little restaurant in a strip mall. It is also a pizza place. The decor is nothing fancy, but the food is fantastic. All are very large portions, enough to take home and have another meal the next day. The wine is a reasonable price too.First trip I had the eggplant parm, excellent and so much food. The second visit I had the grilled salmon. 3 really nice size grilled pieces, cooked just right and so tasty, served with a salad or pasta on a bed of broccoli rabe, also cooked just right. The only critical thing I can say is that there is way too much oil in everything and that is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, but of course that makes it taste good. The serve on both visits was good, attentive but not annoying. Will be back!

We stopped by umbertos a few weeks ago before seeing a movie /sunday â¦.We had the pizza which was excellent ...We decided to come back the following week on Saturday for a formal dinner ..it was a disaster...When we arrived it was crowded and there was no-one to take your reservation..All the workers were busy attending to their tables ..Finally a fellow came over I think he was the owner..he kept shaking my hand..When we were seated we ordered a margarita pizza which came out after 8 minutes...but I had ordered off their takeout menu the manager told me the order would be no problem-veal/milenese which is fried veal with bruschetta, onions ,olive oil,and arugala salad @balsamic oil...It took them about 40-minutes to bring my dinner-out..However they forgot to include the toppings(bruschetta,onions,olive-oil,arugala on the veal..The manager by the way took the plate back and I could see him directing the chefs /rather young on how to complete this dinner..I should mention since it was busy the manager had been serving us and he kept shaking my hand and trying to explain when something wrong+but his English was not very good...The problem seemed to be that the chefs/owner didn't know their own menu..I will add that the margarita pizza was good although when the mgr ask my lady if she wanted parmesan cheese on her pizza she said no and he gave her extra parmesan....I would say if you go to umbertos in bellmore get the pizza but for a formal dinner be careful !!!! Ive been to umbertos in newhyde park which is a first cabin restaurant....The Bellmore manager didn't even apologize for the mistakes or offer a dessertor drink on the house..amazingâ¦...

The only ding I have is that the meals are very rich and heavy. The risotto sides have a lot of cheese. Service was very good. One thing I noticed was that the acoustics were very good - meaning that other table talk throughout the restaurant was not echoing off the walls & drowning out our conversation. Catered very well to my wifeâs dietary issues.

We visited recently with a party of ten on a weekday for an early supper. We arrived ten minutes earlier than our reservation time and had to wait in the foyer while the waiter set our table. Unusual but no big deal. When they were serving our salads I asked for crushed pepper and was given a pepper shaker! Really. One of our guests asked for the same and the same waiter came over with a pepper grinder and took care of it. Again unusual but now kind of annoying. We then waited a very long time for our entrees. This was strange as it was only a party of 10 and it was before the dinner crowd and on a week night. My young niece was so hungry we asked for them to bring her entree before all of the others, which they did. By now we were very frustrated. A good waiter would have brought over some garlic bread or something else and apologized but not our waiter. After dessert we were all set to leave and our waiter was not available. A co-worker brought us the bill and told us he was on the phone. We were not told who he was speaking with but it must have been very important, maybe his recruiter? When he finally showed up I asked if we could use a promotion I had clipped wherein you get a $15 gift card if you spend over $65. Considering we had spent over $400 I thought it would not be a problem. The waiter said no and showed us the fine print on the promotion which excluded price fixe. While some of our meals were price fixe about half of the bill was not which included wine and appetizers. Sorry, but after the poor service we should have been given two gift cards. Anyway we will not be returning to Cara Mia. There are several good Italian restaurants nearby that value repeat customers.
