As of the 2010 United States Census, the city's population was 2,114, reflecting a decline of 721 (-25.4%) from the 2,835 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 143 (+5.3%) from the 2,692 counted in the 1990 Census. Visitors raise the population to as much as 40,000 during the peak summer season from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Sea Isle City is located on Ludlam Island, which also contains the Strathmere section of Upper Township.

Our trip home from the shore wouldn't be complete without a hoagie from Giovanni's. The sandwich is packed solid and stays in the bun. That makes it easy to eat in the car or your beach chair. This is a family owned deli where they make you feel welcome.Thanks! So glad you enjoy our hoagies in a variety of fun places (though the beach does sound better than the car!) See you again soon! We updated our menu this season and have so fun new favorites to try.

Prices online are INCORRECT! Online a salad is $5. They tried to charge me $15 for a very subpar salad. Employee was rude and forgot half our order anyway. Everything we ordered was more than double the advertised price. Food was below average. I do not recommend providing this place with business.

Great idea and helps to empty the fine dinning area of the loud all day drinkers. Calm atmosphere. Relaxed snacking nice setup for groups on couches plenty room for food and drinks. Love it, they continued the linen napkins even outside. Pizzas come out of big Italian circular oven fast.Excellent service. That island feeling is here. Of course Sea Isle is an Island! Go there relax you will love it!

This place had a great selection of pizza, sandwiches, and other hearty dishes. Enjoy some now, and take the rest home for later. Our group of 6 dined for a reasonable price. Everything tasted great, and service was fine as well. Good shore experience.

Iâm not sure where the positive reviews came from. Restaurants are rated by service and food. This place was Aweful in both. Service... waited forever for plates forks and knives. Instead Of bringing them with the water, which was asked for twice, they brought them after our meals arrived. So, we sat at our table staring at our food while waiting for utensils and plates. We had to get up and get our Utensils. No refills on soda or water. Service was terrible. Food.... yuck. They need to learn the meaning of flavor. Chicken Parmesan was dry and pasta was rubbery And tasteless. Pizza was not cooked completes and was soggy. Basically I can rant and rant but one star is more than they deserve. I recommend you walk on to another restaurant on the boardwalk.

LaFontana was a SUPERIOR dining experience. Our host Angelo received us, seated us, advised us, and served us in a most friendly and customer focused manner. And the food was EXCELLENT! I had the chicken marinara and my wife the chicken Marsala. The portions were generous and nicely presented. The bread and the slices with diced tomatoes and onions were wonderful. Highly recommend this restorante.

My husband and I tried this ocean view restaurant last night. Staff was genuinely pleasant and seemed to want us to have a great experience. Our waitress Sophia was accommodating and the kitchen modified the lobster ravioli special so it had white wine lemon sauce rather than truffle cream (which I am sure was delicious but I cannot eat). It turned out to be quite pricey ($39) but there was a lot of seafood (including three delicious scallops) in the dish. Also itâs a byob so we spent far less on good wine that I bought at liquor store around the corner. Make a reservation and plan to enjoy this quality restaurant!

Had a very nice dinner at Andrea Trattoria for a group of 8 friends. Weâre able to get reservations with a round table. The owner/ hostess was very welcoming and gracious. Overall the wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We all had either Italian or seafood dinner. All the dishes were very good. This is a BYOB, which certainly makes the check a lot less. This was a busy, friendly and overall enjoyable experience.

The Jersey Shore towns rarely have top-notch restaurants and it's always a nice surprise to find well prepared food professionally served. About half the menu in this BYOB trattoria-style restaurant is standard US-Italian fare, with the rest of it some interesting turns on familiar sauces. Pay attention to the specials; one of our party had a pork dish with the most tender pork I've tasted in a long time.Service is attentive and amiable, not pushy. Indoors can be a bit noisy because it's not that large a room, but there are tables outside. Don't pass this one by.

If you are in Sea Isle, you must try this restaurant. We dined here on the last night (Thursday) of our ocean visit. My pasta dish was so tasty it just melted in my mouth. They are not open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday when we were there (April). Also, BYOB - no wine or beer is available for sale here.
