What a nice selection of food, the appetizers were delicious, the entree were great. We have eaten at Riccitello's several times and the food has only gotten better. There were eight of us and each had a different appetizer and entree and yes we did have desert as well. Ummm Ummm good. A real bonus was we where there on the night "Reggie of New York" was entertaining.

Best pizza we've had outside of Italy... the crust is perfectly cooked, crisp and tasty. We had one of the pizzas we've enjoyed in Italy -- potato -- with the added treat of bacon at Perreca's. Yum yum yum. Perfect combination of cheese and toppings. The chicken entree was just as good. Service was friendly and fast. In other words, the Italian restaurant you've been waiting to find. We'll be back every time we're in Schenectady.Thank you for taking the time to showcase our delicious pizza. We use a coal-fired brick oven that has not cooled off for close to 100 years. This, and our dedicated pizza artist, Courtney, are our secret ingredients. Thank you again. Your feedback means the world to us!

I have been driving past the Waters Edge for almost 50 years, but today was the first time to stop in for lunch. Glad we chose it!This is a fairly modern restaurant adjacent to a new hotel, but the restaurant building goes back at least to the 19th century. For years it was a private home, then a pub/dive. The latest incarnation is as a nice restaurant, with the hotel a pleasant addition.Wife chose caesar salad with chicken and reported that it was very good. The chicken was perfectly prepared, and the salad was fresh. The only problem was that there was very little parmesan cheese on the salad.I had the stuffed sole. The fish was good, but I have had better. The rice was tasty, and the broccoli was perfectly done - possibly the best part of the meal. We chose to have lunch out on the deck, but under the large awning. For most of the time there was a nice breeze which meant that it was fairly cool (for late August). However, when the breeze died off, the temperature became noticeably warmer from the bright sun bearing down on the canvass awning. I think we will go back.Thank you for taking the time to stop in! We're glad you did and hope you'll be back for many more visits to come. Please don't hesitate to ask the waitstaff for things like extra parm on your salad or anything else we can provide to make your experience with us more enjoyable! See you soon.

Recently we ordered take out pizza for my family. It is now my new favorite pizza place. The dough, sauce and cheese were perfect! Plus the price is good and they have a card that you can accumulate points on. With so many pizza places nearby, it is easy to get into a rut and order from the same place all the time. Marcellas was close to our family gathering, so we chose them. Now we will go there again. Everybody loved their pizza.

Restaurant was packed.... Canali's has been around for a long time and gets good reviews. I think that the food was mediocre. Service was fine. Perhaps people rave about quantity. The portions are very large. The red sauce was not to my liking.

Right next door to the restaurant (which you shouldn't miss either). Lots of different varieties of bread, rolls, and pastries. And if you want to take it out, they'll make a sandwich for you with their own breads. Really tasty.

We traveled to Schenectady for a show at The Proctor, and found Ferrari's Ristorante through Tripadvisor. In a nutshell, we intend to return every chance we get! The food was delicious, and the service was the perfect balance of attention and allowing us to enjoy our meal. Our server was Jackie, and she was great! Our gauge of a good Italian restaurant is the calamari, and the appetizer we ordered exceeded all expectations. We ordered the special that evening, which was a blend of lightly breaded calamari with spicy peppers and onions, with a marinara sauce. The "small" size could have fed both of us comfortably for the whole meal! We didn't know that in advance, so we also ordered the Del Monaco Maffioso, and the Veal Rossano. The steak was cooked perfectly to order, and the veal dish makes my mouth water now as I recall the meal. The ambiance reminds me of the old-fashioned restaurants I enjoyed many years ago - images of Italy and relatives adorn the walls. If we lived closer, this would be one of our regular haunts. I can't wait to return!

Its nice but don't what the hype is about, theres another close by Italian place that's a lot better. The portions were ok, no leftovers. Waiter was great but bus person annoyed us trying to clean up and we weren't done yet. Not in a rush to go back if ever.
