I canât say enough about the friendly atmosphere and views of this place. The wine/ food pairing was top notch The owner was outgoing and made you feel part of the family, especially when he said his wife prepared our seafood dish Everything was fresh- caught that morning and prepared that evening. The ravioli were some of the best I had and the seafood salad was great. Canât wait to go back again !

Three weeks on Sicily Sony this point we know good/bad granita. This was the best lemon we had and it was served with a warm brioche- excellent. They also had biondini cookies which are out of this world. If you find yourself needing a break make sure to stop in here. They are open late as well

Approdo Del Duca is a typical sicilian resturant with a wonderful sea view, the structure is 10 mt from the beach. Our typical cuisine goes from fresh fish to delicious pasta dishes. Important: Our kitchen does not guarantee that our dishes are gluten fre
This is connected to Hotel La Playa Blanca, where I stayed. As such itâs an easy 1 minute stroll for lunch and/or dinner and serves good Italian food with plenty of fish on the menu. I ate here happily several times during a week long stay.

We stumbled across this place on a late Wednesday afternoon and found it empty (never a good sign) but oh my oh my oh my! The ensuing meal we had was one of the best we've had in years. To start off I ordered one of their artisan beers (a red ale that was corked and then put in an ice bucket once opened). We started off with an antipasto of parmesan, swordfish and eggplant. It was plated creatively and tasted exquisite. Next was the creamy bowtie pasta with salmon and fennel and zucchini. (My favorite). And last was the swordfish with spinach and eggplant with a zesty crispy crunch to it. As I said this was a truly outstanding meal and the staff were very helpful in explaining (we speak no Italian) the meals to us. I also have to interject that I am NOT one for long drawn out meals (I like to eat and move on) but this was the most delightful delicious 90 minutes I've spent in a long long time. If you're anywhere near this place you should make a point to visit. You won't be disappointed.

Trying to find Mount Etna in the rain... were we mad or what? Google maps led us along a road that was washed away at one section, so when we rolled into this small town around noon in a downpour and found this restaurant we were so relieved. The food was home cooked, unpretentious & delicious, portions & price excellent and the staff friendly - with the younger ones keen to try out their English. The locals all supported the place too - another good sign! Around us we saw business people at a meeting with latops, families - and the ubiquitous teens a-gossiping. Yep, a real joy of a discovery on a challernging day ! Recommend highly.

We found the place by accident and it wasn't love at the first sight. We waited a bit... but it was worth it!!! The family-run- restaurant serves the best food ever!! Pasta with pistacchio is unbelievable! We wish we had more time to taste other dishes... We'll have to come back here in the future!

Our BnB host recommended this restaurant, so we decided to try it. There was conflicting information about when they opened, so we took a walk until the doors actually opened. The decor was very inviting and warm. The service was excellent. The waiter had recommendations as well as explanations about the different dishes. In addition to a shared antipasti we shared a pasta dish, a delicious fish entree and a dessert. Plenty of food plus a carafe of the house wine. Well worth the wait.

We are a small party of 10, so its not always easy to find a table or agree on where to eat, but we did all agree that a train station restaurant might be an experience. It was! The food was tasty, and the house pasta was particularly good. It is a family run restaurant and they treat the guests like part of the family.

My husband & I, along with our 13 year old daughter dined here for lunch yesterday. It truly lived up to the 5 star TA reviews - our meal was wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant, the small, refined dining room was very welcoming. For starters, we shared a plate of local prosciutto and a bruschetta plate. The prosciutto was a lovely balance of savory and sweet, as the fat melted like sweet butter with each bite. For mains, my daughter ordered the squid ink pasta - delicious! Subtle fish taste, with a hint of sweetness from the fresh squid. I thoroughly enjoyed the fritto misto di mare - lightly breaded fresh calamari, shrimp and zucchini. Not at all greasy. My husband had the bucatini with fennel and anchovies - a personal favorite of his...he claims it's the best he's ever had!Highly recommend this restaurant. Not too difficult to find. We drove down & parked at the train station, then walked the 20-30 meters up the hill, quick right at the corner and there you are!

I recently went with friends for dinner. When I first walked in I was a little hesitant because we were the only ones in the restaurant, but my concerns soon dissipated because dinner was excellent and the staff amazing. This is a family owned restaurant, and they take tremendous pride in their food and service. My Italian is limited, but fortunately I was with Italian speakers so they did the ordering. The ravioli with pistachio is a must! I will be spending quite a bit of time in this region of Sicily, and I look forward to my next trip to Ritrovo Felicita.
