Things to do in San Vito dei Normanni
Found this place through Tripadvisor. Small pizza place where most customers just come to pick up. But there is possibility to sit inside or put (tables on the sidewalk).Friendly employees, excellent prices, many pizza's to choose from including very original combinations and freshly baked in their stone pizza oven.Highly recommended

The restaurant is a simple setting in a small courtyard outside the fish market. If you like fresh fish and seafood, you must try this restaurant. We sampled various antipasti dishes of which the marinated anchovies and tuna carpaccio were big hits. The mussels were tasty but a little over salted. The orata cooked in a packet was the favorite of the table. There is limited seating so it is highly recommended to book. We will certainly return to try other dishes.

This is a Pizzeria Ristorante not currently listed. The food is simple and delicious and the welcome is exteremely warm. We have eaten here 3 times now and have yet to be disappointed. You could have a simple pizza for 4 euros or sample grilled fresh praw
We ate here on our last evening whilst staying in the area and enjoyed the view over the church square during ta "Saints procession"The food was hot and tasty and had an authentic feel, portion size was adequate and the prices were good.We had a mixed seafood starter and a mixed meat starter, Orechiette with meatballs, Seafood pasta and Milanese with Spaghetti Napoli and everybody enjoyed their meal.

This must be a typical idea in Puglia - you walk into what appears to be a butcher's shop with meat on display, you choose your own and they cook it on the spot. Quality good. Wine fine.Good service. The restaurant room not very attractive.

This small, rustic and homey restaurant is one of the leading "slow food" destinations of Puglia, and the menu reflects all of the hallmarks of that designation. Ingredients are hyper local, and the dishes reflect what the owners say are many of the traditional recipes of their Nonna Mena (in fact, the restaurant is in her former home). Our meal was essentially every possible appetizer they offer, followed by a double order of fried fish and calamari to be shared by the four of us at our table. Everything was both simple and delicious. There was certainly no room for dolci! Highly recommended.

X Food is an unusual but delightful restaurant. Run by disabled people it offers high quality rating in modern, artistic and comfortable surroundings. The pasta dishes were delicious, one of them being made for us, not on the menu, at our request. The risotto and my dessert were less to our taste but the original asparagus quiche and later ice cream were of top quality. My only disatisfaction was when the twenty five minute wait for the risotto turned into nearly an hour. Otherwise this was most certainly a highly recommended experience.

I just cannot understand why this voted number one restaurant in this area. We visited all the top 6 listed in this area and this was definitely the worst. You cannot get in until 9pm, people are queuing waiting for the gates to open, then they rush in. You have to through the shop to choose your meat for the main course, then go to a table to get wine and bread and take it to your table. Your starters are brought out, which consist of a huge plate of assorted cold meats and cheese, which are all very good but you soon get fed up of eating after the first 20 pieces of meat. Then the main course of barbecued meat that you chose is delivered. Ours was overcooked. Basically this restaurant only serves meat and all meat. Another party of 10 we saw a few days later reviewed it exactly the same.. It seems to be very busy all the time, which i can only put down to the ratings on trip advisor which i really think have been by people not giving true reviews. Don't get me wrong, it's not all bad but it certainly is not brilliant. If want food like this, it is better at L'Archetto della Brace.

I’ve been travelling around the area since a couple of years so far and I found a little disappointment ‘bout this restaurant, especially if I’m working for a big group from another country and I see such a colourful and “Rated R” promotion on the social media. So I was attracted to go in, but I didn’t found the experience so charming. The expert waiter was really attentive, but too much intrusive in was our private conversation. We ordered only two mains: “Orecchiette con le rape ed i Taglioni al pomodoro e stracciatella”. Both quite nice but nothing supreme.Last, but not least, I personally wrote on the note “14th Birthday” but nothing happened. I believe this restaurant could do better, if it tries not to be lazy.
The use of the highest quality raw materials, mother yeast for bakery products combined with the fragrance of freshly baked bread (of our production) and all other delicacies ensure that our customers always have the maximum freshness and authenticity.
Finding a tipe of bistrot in Carovigno is a surprise, and a great surprises are the quality of food, of service and ospitality. the pinza is a type of pizza with a soft and leavened dough And you find a good Selection and choice .
