I love this place! we've eaten my favorite zucchini&shrimps gnocchi (one of the best things they do), mixed glill and a fish cooked in the oven with potatoes. I love everything about this place: the tastes, the fresh fish, the simple atmosphere. The only thing they should improve is the white wine "of the house". the red Montepulciano is good, while the white is not. It's overall my favorite fish place for limited budget in the area! It's healthy, tasty, good looking, home-style and enjoyable ....

This restaurant offers a very wide choice of seafood dishes in a very informal setting. Each plate costs 5 euros, and you choose whatever you want from a huge array of tempting dishes (monkfish, octopus, marinated fish, seafood pasta etc). Outside seafood is freshly fried up. The staff is friendly and efficient. It was extremely busy when we arrived, and you need to arrive early to get a table outside. Here everyone eats from plastic plates on long tables. This is very good value seafood eaten under simple conditions. Not the place for a romantic night out. Great value. Highly recommended!

We have eaten in the best restaurants in Paris, Tokyo, Australia and Italy and can say that this is one of the best restaurants.....if not THE BEST in the world. Stunning, outstanding, tasty...amazing. We have been here many times and drive over one hour to eat here. Brilliant, you can not eat better! Also try the local Picereno white wine....amazing

The place is really nice, tables are well spaced and you can enjoy a relaxing environment. The menu is short but the selection is excellent. Try the boiled octopus as starter and grigliata mista as main. They're delicious!! Price is reasonable but not cheap. Worth a visit for business, friends or couples. Not for kids

This is a smart, modern restaurant specialising in fresh local fish & seafood. The owner was very friendly and happy to help us understand the menu fully. Our chosen dishes included lobster, sea-bass carpaccio, sea bream and mixed seafood. The food was perfectly prepared and cooked and together with the modern presentation gave the impression of a fine-dining experience. The owner also recommended a lovely white Pecorino wine from Abruzzo to accompany the meal. Together with an aperitif, coffee and a digestif, our bill came to under 100 euros, which I felt was superb value for money.

Had dinner here tonight with 4 friends. The food was delicious, not one complaint to make. 2 of our friends arent fish lovers, and as this is mainly a fish restaurant there was no problem at all. They made a beautiful chicken dish for them. The waiter Attilio spoke very good english and was so friendly and helpful. Would recommed to anyone visiting San Vito Chietino.

During our stay in Abruzzo we had lunch and dinner here. Nice restaurant by the sea. We had both times the antipasto misto, cold and warm mix of starters of fresh fish. Nice choice of primi, For example the spaghetto agli alici, homemade spaghetti with anchiovis and garlic and peppers. Secondi also good choice of fresh fish. Trabocco is a wooden structure above the sea used for fishing with huge nets hanging off wooden booms usually forty metres off the beach. Some of them during the summer months become fish restaurants. At this particular one it is best to leave the menu to the restaurant. What then happens is that you first get a prosecco aperitif then this is followed by numerous fish antipasti, by pasta tasters and by a fish main course and a sweet to end it all.If you like fish then this is the right place for you as it is fresh and delicious. Of course, the setting is also fantastic as you are poised metres above the sea. However, the structure is solidly built as it has to overcome the winter weather.If I am back in the area I will certainly visit it again. It is always better to book because if you don't you may be turned away.

Something unique. Great atmosphere. The Trabocco is an old fisherman place to catch fish nowadays reinvented as a restaurant...so let me say what a nice surprise...a must to visit...and now let's talk about the food..Antipasto not my favorite but not bad, main dish fresh pasta with seafod was Sublime...excellent..so no words for it...after this plate I would have gone home...terrific..then a mixed of fried fishes came..nice and well fried...at the end some tipycal pastry with grape jam, so delicious...anyway I recommend to try once in life...service friendly and ok.Price worthed the fantastic experience...

This restaurant look like very nice and elegant, but about meal there is not posible speak.If you wanna take your girlfriend in some nice elegant place with view, maybe its ok. They bring you 3kind of breads,making theatre that one is from sepia one is from curry etc...but its not posible eat..some raw fish starter was ok, pasta was no good, iam specialist for italian cusine, and this was really sad. Cheff put everywhere something sweet, like in every course you feel taste of sweet. They try to make some new experience but its not good with italian cusine. Even panacotta like a desert was very bad. How iam telling elegant place but not for eat well like in other places in Pescara ( abruzzo ) .
