Located in a small shopping center. Restaurant is quite small witih no flair, but they put out some very tasty Italian meals. No bar service, but you can bring your own wine. Wait staff was very friendly and had a good handle on the menu items and the specials. Their fresh bread was excellent. They serve some large portions, and all in our party took home a go box. All of our meals very hot and tasty, no complaints from anyone. Meal for two, with tip, around $50. Will definitely be back.

I was really surprised to get a cheesesteak almost as good as a Philly steak. They use Amoroso's bread and, while not everyone in Philly uses this bread...it was really better than any other I have had in Florida. The place is small and dark and not a place you want to eat in, takeout is the answer. Hope to go back for their pizza.

So, for lunch I sat in the bar area and the service (possibly the owner or manager) was outstanding - drinks were always full, he was very polite. But the chicken on the Pollo Rustico Panini was overcooked. The rest of the ingredients were good. I wasn't sure if the side salad, served on the same plate, was a salad or just garnishment. I'd kick that salad up a notch. Also, the outside of the restaurant needs something - flowers, plants, a big sign saying, "now open". Something. In a somewhat rundown strip mall, they need to up the curb appeal. I almost did't go in. The inside is just fine; no problems there.I will definitely come back. Probably just some growing pains here...

This is our favorite kind of restaurant, not pretentious, "real" homemade food, made by people who take pride in what they are doing. We were with friends, all enjoyed the very fresh salad and the house balsamic vinaigrette dressing was amazing.Service was friendly and efficient. The food is excellent, as good as can be. Large portions so you will probably take some home.My wife had Chicken Cacciatore and I had Chicken Marsala which came with delicious Angel Hair spaghetti, wine sauce, and lots of nice mushrooms.I can't wait to go again!

1st, let me say that every other time we have ordered here, the pie has been GREAT.This review is based 90% on poor service and attitude, and only 10% for the poor pie we received this time. So, u ordered a pie at 4:46 PM, for pick up. I was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. So, never being late for anything, I arrive at 5:15, 11 minutes early to pick it up. So, I walk in and there is a line, so I wait. 7 minutes later I am waited ok n, I pay and the gentleman walks to the oven and gets my order from on top! This means that my pie was WAYEARLY, much less than 45 minutes, and had the. Sat on top of the oven for an additional 7 minutes. I did not think much of this at the moment, drove the 2.1 miles to my home, opened it up to eat and it was absolutely nasty! It was not fresh, like warm at best, and simply gross. I called to let them know and request a new pie be made, and this is where the problem truly starts. The lady answered the phone, I explain the situation and state that the pie is not fresh, and her response was " It has to be fresh, they are all made fresh". I reiterate that the pie wa just picked up and is not fresh, she continues to explain that it would be impossible to not be fresh. This goes back and fort for 9 minutes, and I finally state that I don't care what you think....the pue IS NOT FRESH AND I WANT A NEW ONE MADE.She states that they are busy and do not have time for this. I reiterate that I want a new pie and she says fine, 15 minutes.I drive back up, the owner opens it, looks at it and says this pie was not made yesterday. I say, I never said it was, I simply said that it is not fresh. He mumbles and walks away, continuing to mumble.Keep in mind that NEVER, NOT ONCE did they apologize! They are so narsisistic that they actually believe that every pie, lasagna or hoagie they make is always 100% perfect!!!So a few minutes later he opens the oven, slides the pie out, placed it in the box, cut it and hands it to me. I then said, you are no longer in the Bronx and you can not treat your customers this way, you should be ashamed. Not a peep back, just an "I don't care" shrug of the shoulders...Soooooo, they have now lost a steady, long time customer over a $17.00 pie!!!Oh, and lastly....their large is only a 16", NOT the traditional 18" NY pie. There are two other GREAT NY style pies in Apollo Beach, I suggest you spend your $$$ there.

First time in, and we were not disappointed. A quirky place that could use an update, but then it would loose its atmosphere! Waitstaff was excellent and pleasant to deal with. Food was served hot and tasty. The yeast rolls are really good and easy to fill up on. We all had Italian dishes and no one had any complaints. Portions were large enough that we all had go boxes when we left. We hit it on a Thursday night and they have a very good Elvis impersonator who does an excellent job. The place can really get jumping. Will definitely be back to try other entrees.

I really enjoy the Grandma's Pizza (just the right amount of fresh garlic and basil), salad with Creamy Italian dressing and the garlic bread. The boli's are great too. The food is always fresh and hot. I order out a couple times of month and always enjoy.
