We visited as a big family group, the personnel was great with the klids and professional and supernice with us. Food was awesome. Its not cheap, but worth every penny.

We had been to this top restaurant years ago and returned for a trial.Food was ok but not great my spaghetti al vongole were overcooked. So I was very disappointed. This is an Italian restaurant speciallied in fish and sea food.Nevertheless the staff are very freindly and they offered us a panetone as it was just before Xmas

This is the first restaurant I remember and I always loved going there!Patron Maurizio has always been there, even though I think his son took over quite a while ago. Still........dad seems to be checking from time to time!! To be honest......kitchen and service is only 100% when Maurizio is nearby! Anyway.....I love the food and the attention of the charming Italian staff!! The place has recently been renovated and it is better than ever before!! Don't be scared by the fact that the restaurant is attached to a zoo.........or the zoo is attached to the restaurant...........it's a fantastic place and you won't be disappointed!! Ask for the specialty of the day!! I hope you don't have to drive as their wines are gorgeous!! Enjoy my childhood memory!!

Liegt zwar etwas abseits für Nicht-Sportler, aber lohnt auf jeden Fall den Weg.GroÃe Speisekarte, viele Pizze, guter Wein, sehr freundliche, humorvolle Bedienung - was will man mehr.Der Antipasti Teller ist ein Hauptgericht. Der Salat mit Hühnerbrust ist eigentlich Hühnerbrüste mit Salat und die Pizza war köstlich und kross. Im Sommer kann man auf der groÃen Terrasse sitzen, im Winter geräumiger Gastraum. Wir kommen wieder!

On a nice warm spring evening we had a nice table outside in a comfortable environment. The food was good and served fast, in particular the daily specials are a highlight for their quality. The size of the portions are adequate and the service is friendly with a good owner's oversight.

Friday night I invited my guests from Brazil - and as you may know, they are pampered by good meat and fresh sea food ... so we got amazing food and a great Amarone Red for dinner. Again and again just a pleasure to dine here - well educated staff, friendly, competent and attentive. The dishes are excellent and worth the money. Please do not miss to enjoy this restaurant!

Einfacher Italiener mit sehr umfangreicher Speisekarte, sehr aufmerksamen, humorvollen Service, aber riesigen Portionen. Da es auch als Gruà des Hauses Antipasti UND Pizzabrot gab, waren wir fast davon schon satt. Selbst die Salatportionen sind nicht zu schaffen, ertrinken auch in der Joghurtsauce. Gut für Familien oder groÃe Gruppen geeignet.

Cucina Caputo ist erwachsen geworden. Aus der alten Unterlagsspeisekarte ist eine richtige Speisekarte geworden. Leider wurde der Mittagstisch ersatzlos gestrichen, was sehr schade ist, trotzdem ist die Qualität gleichbleibend gut. Die Preise gleichen sich nun anderen Italienischen Pizzerien an. Solange die Qualität gleich bleibt werden wir gerne bei Caputo Pizzaessen. Sollten die Preise weiter steigen oder die Qualität fallen wird es wohl eng bei Caputo.

As part of a month long trip to Europe I stayed two nights in this town and looked for a local place to eat. This was the only one open on a Tuesday night. Did not expect much as the sitting area was tiny and a little dark. By the end of the evening I was pleasantly surprised. The wait staff spoke sufficient English to make ordering comfortable. I ordered a pizza salami. The crust was well cooked without being "crispy". The flavor and taste were well above average - the kitchen proved to be well versed in pizza making. The best part however was the price - easily a third the price of pizzas in Paris and Stuttgart the quality was as good and better than some.

We have only been to the Schutzenhof a couple of times, but have enjoyed excellent, friendly service as well as good food. Don't go there expecting gourmet cooking, but do expect excellent nibbles to start and a good solid main.Enjoy.
