The restaurant was established in 1995 when Marco Senior and his son Paolo decided to create an authentic, family run family feel restaurant. The restaurant has built up a reputation as the perfect place for that intimate meal, or social and family occasi
Booked a table for 7 of us for Dads birthday. Communication issue resulting in half the group being in a different restaurant but no problem for the Old Bill letting us keep the table and treating us to a night never to be forgotten. Thank you.The food was as tasty as ever and the Flaming Brandy has to be seen.

Visited on A Sunday afternoon when the restaurant was full of people having the Sunday lunch menu, the pizzeria contained three birthday groups and there was a large group in the function room. Despite all this, the staff were courteous, the food timely and delicious and there was a good atmosphere.

Tried the brunch and it was very disappointing. Our party ordered avocado with poached egg on sourdough, what we received was a piece of white sliced tiger loaf not toasted with just over a tsp of advocado on top with a poached egg, the only reason it looked ok was because we ordered a side of bacon. Our party were still hungry and had to order toast. The staff are very pleasant and efficient but the food let our experience down big time. The brunch at The Bank in Delph is so much better. I wanted this place to be good as itâs more convenient for me but probably wonât return as the duck I had last week was very tough as well.

Visited Saturday night with a friend; last minute table booking so could only get 9pm, not an issue as shows how popular the place is. We ordered Mushrooms, pate, pizza and chicken Pepe; food is hot, lovely presentation and plentiful in portion size. No complaints at all and weâre a frequent visitor.

Haven't been here for a while but we all received a very warm welcome as soon as we arrived. The staff really were perfecto, so helpful and friendly. The food quality also matches up and I could not fault my three course meal at all. I would recommend their risotto. For dessert their tiramisu is spot on too. We were celebrating my sister's birthday and they all sang to her and got her a special dessert. They are family friendly and were lovely with my young daughters. Looking forward to going back again.

Everything was ok, except for the quality of the cut of meat, we both had steak Diane, steak was fatty and stringy, half of each steak was left on the side of the plate, to be fair, we should have sent it back, but instead, just mentioned it, desert was insisted on, which was superb, on paying, desert had no charge, a nice touch, but I can cook a far far superior steak to what I paid £22 for, next time, I want to see the cut first, or itâs pasta, Oh, everyone can remember the falling angel, itâs original name, can anyone remember cenetta? I have to google it,Dear ALANCManchesterThank you for letting us know about your recent experience. We really appreciate guest feedback as this makes us good at what we do and assists us greatly. We are very sorry to hear that on this occasion we didnât meet your expectations with the steaks, but we have passed your comments onto the kitchen so that we can hopefully improve all areas that we didnât quite get right this time.We are glad that you enjoyed the rest of your meal and hope that we may redeem ourselves when you decide to visit again.

I have had the pleasure to eat here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed, a friendly and somewhat funny service, great food that really is a step above and it is all reasonably priced and always seems busy so is obviously popular. one thing is certain, I will return.
