On a hot summer evening on the terrace or inside in a cosy atmosphere, Da Nino offers a simple but nice surrounding for all weathers. The servive is very Italian and charming. The wine selection appealing and reasonably priced. The food great, fish, seafood or meat are great, the pasta dishes very good and the prices very reasonable. Da Nino is a good choice if you look for Italian food and atmosphere - you will forget that you are on the north side of the Alps

Staff was very nice to our kids, they could play around the restaurant (they even provide toys) as they wished. Kids also got served quickly upfront and all children's meals only cost 5 Swiss francs (I've never seen such low prices anywhere else) and their meal sizes are big. Our food was delicious, both pizzas and pastas are fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant, it's really great.

Okay, we were tired, exhausted and just wanted a light easy meal. Very hard to find in Lucerne. We headed out toward Meggan and there was very little. We headed back toward our hotel and found this little gem. From the second we walked in they couldn't be more helpful, apologizing for their poor English (it was quite good in fact) and we orderd lasagne and a tagliatelle al fungi porcini and we were both in heaven. Seriously good food with great service. If this wasn't the best pasta I've ver had it must have been very close. No, it was the best pasta I've ever had, period. Nothing flash to look at but inside they wrap their arms around you and treat you like family. Once our waiter discovered we were Australian, he couldn't be nicer. Not sure on he could have improved from his already excellent and helpful service. Just wonderful and very reasonably priced.

My visit at La Cantinetta was an excellent experience. First of I'd like to mention the very kind welcome, the great service, the flexibility of the cuisine for special wishes, such as gluten-free meals and finally the excellent wine list. This restaurant is an excellent experience for couples, lovers who look for a nice "ambiente" and even for groups. Please enjoy!

We came for lunch with two families to this nice restaurant directly at the lake of Zug and found a nice table with excellent view.All service personnel was very friendly. Food came quickly and in large portions - everything tasted great!

The New Bergsonne Hotel and Bergsonneâs Sicilian Ristorante. Grüezi: I approached the Bergsonne with very mixed feelings - we had been coming to the very fine hotel and restaurant of Willy Camps and Dorley Stalder Camps for more than 2 decades .They sold it and it re-opened a month ago with new owners, new staff, and a total change to the dining. Sicilian cuisine, served cafe style, has replaced the highly rated slow-cooking very gourmet , highly creative fine Swiss cooking ( with an occasional Asian accent) .Willy Camps no longer greets you at the front door, on the terrace, and chats with all the guest throughout the dinners. Dorley is absent from the kitchen - she will no longer be coming around after dinner to receive numerous accolades for making dinners that are equivalent to putting on a grand opera. Only Dorleyâs perform every is better than a grand opera. The ânewâ Bergsonne has split the dining from the hotel - each managed separately. Frühstück is no longer included with the room. TSo. What replaced these unique and wonderful people?Answer: different people, but also unique , and also wonderful.Alessandro, the man who runs the dining room, who seems to have lived in just about every country on earth, with a focus on Sicily and Switzerland, is charming and attentive. If you enjoy trying a variety of swiss and italian wines by the glass - he makes it easyEbullient , In a word, describes the mood of your Swiss Guide.For all of you who have enjoyed visits here - return. It is entirely different , yet the core will be very familiarOf course , the best view on the planet has not changed. The best of Suisse and Italia in one place - at THe Bergsonne. Who knew The hotel rooms have been spruced up , a bit, with more upscale soaps and such, Bergsonne embroidered towels. And, at last, an easy to remember wifi password Two dozen wines by the glass, several from Italia - and Sicilia. Many from Schweiz. All inexpensively priced, especially by Swiss standards. The menu offerings are Sicilian - and somewhat limited until the saison begins first week of July.Dorleyâs frames that she used to post her menu - which changed daily - are empty. I rate this four stars , not five for a few reasons . First, they just opened, and there is always room for enhancement with a new operation. Second, the menu is expected to expand when high season arrives soon - so I did not get to experience the full range of the chef. Third, the hotel reception operation was very slow to reply to my email inquiries. That, along with an ATM-like machine at the front door that apparently might be used for checkin instead of a live person at a front desk was not an improvement. There is nothing like the warm and friendly greeting of coming up the mountain and getting a big hello from Willy Camps, with him showing you around the hotel. An ATM-like machine was a shock, and almost knocked off another one or two stars in my rating. Tschüss and Ciao
