Donât be fooled by the outside! Inside it is elegant, the food and service excellent. We chose it because it was raining, close to where we were staying expecting it to be OK. It was far from OK: it was an utter delight. The Gorgonzola bruschetta was so tasty. The pasta perfectly cooked in a tasty sauce, the wine delightful and the service was personal charming and superb!

We came from Russian restaurant Uncle Vanya to our hotel Rixwell Centra and decided to drop in for night cap and found Locate near by.Place is connected to upper floor Georgian restaurant where we been visited before also.Very friendly waitress was active to sell us instead of Prosecco other Italian sparkling wine Vulcano. It was good and dry. 30⬠bottle. Nice evening sipping sparkling before sleeping time.

I really like this place... They do focus on having a good Wine cellar, but also have a small menue with good dishes to keep the wines company... like medium sized oysters from Normandie in pair with an excellent champagne... etc etc.. They dont pretend being fine dining, but what They offer is fine enough, and its presented with proudness and cooked and presented with care. Love it!

It's a nice western -europe like restaurant next to the river Daugava. You can also go on the roof terrace - a wonderful view will be there for sure. There's cozy, but elegant atmosphere & amazing dishes. This is a great place for vegans/ vegetarians, because this place has some delicious vegan dishes . For vegans I recommend spinach ravioli, vegan passion fruit panna cotta, asparagus roll (vegan sushi), truffle risotto , homemade hummus and falafel, avocdo and tomato tartare, but my favourite is the vegetable salad with greens and yasai sauce. Tried this restaurant as it was just around the corner from our hotel and got good reviews. Fully justified - busy restaurant on a Monday night - very friendly and funny waitress. Pizzas were served quickly and were good quality at a reasonable price.

I went there for a birthday with 7 people and everything from the beginning till the end did not disappointed! The waiter was a professional and it was able to answer all our questions in a perfect English, everything we wished for he made it happen.Thank you so much! We had the Dry-Aged Carpaccio wit Truffle and Foie Gras and it was more than perfect, then we had Fish( Pike Perch Filet) for the main course and it was again amazing. Their Chef and the Kitchen staff they really know how to cook amazingly tasty delicious food! Try the Honey pears with the Goat Cheese for dessert! You will thank me!Everything was perfect! As I live in England but my parents live in Riga, I wanted to make surprise for my mum's birthday so I chose this restaurant. It was Very easy to book through email, they satisfied all my requests and even more. We are very happy with are service (2 girls was great sorry don't remember there names). The food was amazing, very tasty and generous portions. Lovely atmosphere!Thank you very much for making my mum's birthday so speical. Highly recommended.
