In a beautifully maintained classic house on a small neighborhood square, this idyllic restaurant has exceptional preparations from the highest quality ingredients. The ambiance is understated class which fits perfectly with the structure in which it's housed. And then there's the waitstaff which seamlessly flows (after you've gotten past the not so welcoming front door personnel) with whatever is appropriate at the time from the beginning of the meal to the end. Thanks, Enrique (and your bus boy)! When all was done, it ranked with other top meals that I've had around the world over the years. Oh, for what it's worth, the wine list is solely Italian. There's quite an array. As someone who considers himself quite knowledgeable about wines, I had to lean heavily on Enrique for assistance. He came through with an excellent recommendation which wasn't even, in the scheme of things, particularly expensive.

Great pizza all the way down to the delicious tasting crust! Our party was pretty large and the staff was so accommodating. We will definitely go back for more upon return to Boston!

Looking for a place to eat close to hotel and not wanting to drive back to city. This is your place. My food was made fresh. Service was great not to mention the excellent and yummy food. I have found my stop for next time in Boston.

This small two-sided shop (one side for sandwich and salad prep...the other for fresh pasta to go and drinks) is VERY good at what it does. It doesnât have seating, but grab an Italian sandwich and find a nearby historic square to dine al fresco. My calabrese special (Prosciutto ham, buffalo mozzarell, tomatoes, pesto and balsamic) was just that...special. Tip: a âsmallâ will do except the most hungry. Prices are very reasonable for the quality! A small sandwich is about $12. Note: there are no tables here, but sister spots close by do.

Based on the TripAdvisor review's, I was excited to try Italian Express. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but we left unimpressed.I ordered a Big Slice of Pizza with sausage and mushrooms. It was definitely a huge slice at a very reasonable price. The dough and sauce were relatively tasty, but all they do is take a pre-cooked slice of cheese pizza, slap some sausage and mushrooms on top of the cooked pizza and warm it up again. Maybe I should have expected this, since I ordered a slice of pizza. But it wasn't as good as the reviews made it out to be.My husband asked how the BBQ Chicken sandwich was made. The waiter said the sandwich had a chicken cutlet, with barbecue sauce on top, and whatever else he wanted on it. Maybe he should have asked more questions, but he was surprised to find that the chicken cutlet was breaded. But he did say the roll was extremely fresh. The restaurant is clean, nothing fancy, but perfectly fine for a small neighborhood restaurant. They did a significant amount of take-out business while we were there, so maybe we just ordered the wrong things. But for me, I won't be going back.

Was first introduced to this amazing place by the Capitals training staff. Went to eat with the team a few years ago (St. Patty's weekend) night before a game. There is limited seating but they bought a place across the street and transformed it into a bar so you can grab a drink/app there while you wait. The wait can be long but it's 100% worth it. Ordered a handful of apps to share with the table and the lobster rav which came highly recommended. It was worth the hype! Great service and overall experience. I tell everyone about this place. It's a hidden gem and close to the airport!

This restaurant was behind my hotel and I decided to try it. Nothing fancy but I could tell from the crowd that it would be good. My chicken with linguine was simply heavenly. Waiter was friendly and efficient. I am actually glad this restaurant doesnât exist in my city because I would have that dish every day!!! If you have the opportunity give it a try.
