Was quite disappointed with this restaurant. A friend had told me how good it was. Arrived and we were the only people in restaurant which didn't fill me with confidence. Service was extremely slow, and food took so long to come out. I wondered why since we were only people there, but then I could see all the deliveries were getting organised before our meals which I found very rude. The deep-fryer was apparently broken so there was a few items we couldn't order, but then they advised afterwards we could which was strange. Food was average, nothing special. Definitely wouldn't return here.

Went on a Monday night and was surprised it was not only open but had a few more patrons than I had expected. Haven't been since their Margate days and was pleased to find some of the old favourites still available (ie Penne Alla Vodka). Fitout inside is either rich and sumptuous or perhaps a little over the top, I'm not quite sure. Service was excellent (and perhaps a little quick although we were asked if we were ready for our mains). The overall feeling is that whilst pleasant enough, something was not quite the same. Prices had gone up quite a bit and quantity appears to have gone down a bit. The sauces were not especially brilliant, but tasty enough. It is just another Italian Restaurant, I believe.

Marcello's Italian restaurant is a family business that opened in Redcliffe in January 1981 It is run by Laura Alesi (wife of Marcello Alesi) and their twin daughters chef Sabrina and front of house manager Valentina. It offers traditional Italian cuisine
On a two night stay in Redcliffe, my wife stumbled across the restaurant in a small arcade during an afternoon walk so we made an evening booking. This small restaurant has an immediate warm and welcoming atmosphere that is ideal for a relaxed night out.For starters, the âbruschettaâ was light and full of herbal flavour. For mains the seafood risotto and the lasagna (small serves) were very adequate and full of flavour, and beautifully accompanied by a delightful Italian salad (with bocconchini and anchovies).Service was efficient but not pressuring.

The Rustic Olive is a family owned, authentic Italian restaurant with a modern flair. Offering your favourite pastas, pizzas, seafood, risottos, salads, and steak, there is always something for everyone. With so much on offer, itâs difficult to save room
We have visited the Rustic Olive several times and i think it is worthy of a review and congratulations on the quality of service and food on offer ... the position allows for that people watching and fab seaside views... The redcliffe parade position allows for open air dining... We were a larger group who need reserved tables which was no problem and with the prior notice allow staff to meet our needs and provide great service...

When we decided to open What's in the Pot? our goal was to make people feel at home and to bring back flavor to the table. A flavor that would respect the culinary traditions of our beloved Italian Region: Tuscany Hence What's in the Pot? was born. Our Li
I love all the food at this restaurant. This latest time we had a pizza and a spaghetti ragout. Both delicious. The pizzas have the best base, thin base with crispy edges. Yum! And the ragout was to die for. Since our last visit they have opened up the restaurant to across have extra dining space, and they are now licenced, so you can now buy beer and wine there. It will now be a great place to have a small function, with the extra dining space. Iâll keep coming back here while the food is so good.

La Lanterna is the first restaurant in Queensland, Australia, dedicated to the tradition of Ligurian cuisine. As we started trading in 2017 we soon realized how hard it was to find fresh homemade pasta and focaccia, therefore we adjusted out menu and star
Found out about this place through âThe Restaurant Choiceâ . Decided to try as we had travelled through this region of Italy and loved the area. Atmosphere and service is friendly and welcoming. Food was authentic and prepared with love. Doesnât pretend to be anything other than simple food done well. Noticed many clients were repeat visitors which is a great recommendation. Will be back.
