I love the food. That is really important. The chef is willing to make changes to meet your taste. More spice, less spice. It is a cozy place. Not too large. Quiet enough to have a conversation without getting a head ache. The staff is the same every time I have been there which is rare today. It makes you feel more comfortable. They know what they are doing and treat you wonderfully. For some reason it makes me feel like I am in Italy. Very reasonably priced for the quality.

Four of us stopped in for lunch about noon on a Tuesday. We were seated immediately though the restaurant was doing a good business throughout the lunch time. Our server, Erin, provided excellent service, timely and friendly. I had a calzone which was tasty but the crust was a little tough. My wife had a flat bread which she enjoyed but said the crust was very crispy. The menu has many good options. The noise level was moderate. Parking is ample as it is part of a strip mall.

Situated in a beautiful historic building in downtown Raleigh, Caffe Luna has been bringing authentic Italian cuisine with a Tuscan flair to the Triangle for over a decade.
A large group of friends went for dinner here and had a good time. We had some nice Italian food and Iâm picky about it. I had the penne con carcafia and it was good. My wife had the spinach stuffed ravioli and she enjoyed it. The service was good and I recommend this restaurant.

Four of us met for dinner about 5:30 pm on a Friday. We were seated immediately and had fast, excellent service from Brittany during out stay. Our orders were delivered quickly. three of us had the pizza and one the chicken pasta entree. Everyone was pleased with their order. I had the vegetable pizza. It was very thin crust cooked just right so that it was crispy but not overly cooked. The pizza was loaded with toppings. The noise level got to near high but we had no trouble visiting at our booth. Parking is ample as it is an out building to the mall.Thank you for your review, RaleighNCtravel! We had an excellent meal! The rosemary roasted chicken was outstanding. I love their roasted vegetables and spinach dip as well. The menu changed a bit since the last time we visited years ago and Iâm glad because this was a memorable experience. We look forward to going back! (And we greatly miss the mini desserts they used to offer!)

Ask any Italian-American what âgravyâ is, and they'll tell you it's the pasta sauce that their mothers and grandmothers cooked fresh every night. At Gravy Restaurant we take the same care, preparing our signature sauce every day using select tomatoes and
This was my first time here. Heard a lot about it so wanted to experience it. Four of us walked in without reservations on a Saturday night. Had to wait a bit but not too long. While waiting we got a drink at the bar. My first drink directly from the bar was good. We were seated and ordered. Our waiter was pleasant and professional. The food arrived quickly. I ordered the salmon dish. It was cooked to my specification. It was good, but I've had better Italian in Raleigh. Their food, at least on this night, needed salt (all four of us thought so) and there wasn't any salt or pepper at the table or any other tables. We had to request a salt shaker. My 2nd drink was a bit too strong, but hey, a lot of people won't complain about a strong drink! All in all, a solid 4 star review from me for food and service. Good, but not great in my opinion. I should go back and try another dish and re-review, but I don't get downtown all that often. Maybe I'll bring my own salt shaker next time. :-)

The restaurant decor is modern and open which leads to a lot of noise but otherwise it is a great place for a meal. We ordered a Caprese salad, pork tenderloin and grilled salmon. The roasted tomatoes were delicious and the mozzarella cheese fresh. The pork was among the best I have tasted - flavorful, tender and juicy - terrific. The salmon portion was large and it was cooked medium as ordered. Potatoes with both meals were well done - firm, not soft. Service was excellent.
