Just into town, we've been on the road all day and we took a "shot-in-the-dark" chance at dining at a Finnish Italian Restaurant. Hey, the place looked interesting from the outside. Anyway, after a brief staff stumble upon first entering, things only got better and better. Great table with a nice view of the rive along with an attentive and well-informed staff made for a nice dining experience. And ya know what? These guys in Finland know how to do Italian. From the starters thru the main course, we were not disappointed, and in fact, my wife thought this was one of the better meals we had in our three-week tour of London, Finland, and Sweden. We had a nice conversation with the waiter about pairing wines, and the staff suggestion was spot on. When in Turku there are plenty of restaurant choices. I would recommend that Sergio's be one of your 'must' try spots while enjoying this lovely city. Cheers.

At last we managed to find an opportunity to visit this Trattoria and we were certainly not disappointed. Located just a few minutes walk from the Turku Cathedral the Trattoria Romana is the most Italian, Italian restaurant I have visited for quite some time. The pizzas we ordered were just perfect, the wine very good and the service efficient and discreet. We arrived just after opening time (open 11-23) and had a good choice of table location but I would advise any potential diners to arrive early too as this restaurant is extremely popular and can get quite crowded at peak meal times. Without a doubt this must be recommended over and above all the other city centre pizza restaurants.

By the riverside in Turku, with spectacular views of the cathedral, you find Gustavo, our restaurant that offers Mediterranean specialties with a Scandinavian twist. We are open from Tuesday through Sunday for dinner, but you are also welcome to drop by f
Service was good. We had a table reservation and we were given our own separate room, which was nice. Otherwise the decor/design is not very cozy. Food was ok/average, nothing special.Would probably not visit again.

Little outside from City Centre in Ruissalo, where they have famous Ruisrock Festival every June. If you drive there, first you see old dockyard. But if you come by boat, you see nice little Marina and their terrace. Pizzas are what they are known for and their Italian chefs really know what to do. Tasty pizzas, with beautiful views, so good place for dinner. Not the cheapest choice in Turku(my pizza was something like 18â¬), but worth of visit

This Ristorante Rosso is in Shopping Centre Mylly. The place is on the second floor. To start your meal there was antipasto buffet which was very good. The food was very tasty and delicious. We had chorizo quesadilla and pasta chorizo puttanesca. The portions were good at size. Menu was diverse and service was friendly and proper.

The pizza was great, who can say anything bad about pizza? The pizza's are a little pricey so if you want cheap yummy pizza I'd suggest to just go to a kebab pizza eatery instead of here. Also if you're looking for kebab pizza, they do not offer that and it's prominent by a slogan in the back of the staffs uniform shirt.

The indoors are quite a small space so it is fairly tight, especially for the staff who seemed to struggle just a little when serving customers. There is also a lovely outdoors area but only for dry weather. Food was altogether very good ( maybe the pizza was not quite as superb as expected but very ok). The Korean buns were so delicious that you easily overeat, the portion could easily feed two.
