Reviews on Italian food in Rabat, Rabat-Sale-Zemmour-Zaer Region, Morocco. Morocco's coastal capital since 1912, Rabat has just over a million people. Modern and even reserved by Moroccan standards, the city also has many fascinating historic sites, including the picturesque Kasbah of the Udayas, built in the mid-12th century. The unique Hassan Tower, begun at the end of the 12th century, was meant to have the world's largest minaret, but was never completed. Just opposite the tower lies the 20th-century Mausoleum of Mohammed V, another of the city's main attractions.

Looks promising...great decoration. But, for the price, it's still just a burger. The little scoop of 10 or so fries is cute, but it leaves the fries sitting in their oil. Props to the server spoke English. I can manage in Darija and French, but it was welcoming to be greeted in English. Give me a great char-grill flavor, with an ample stack of fries, and I'll come back with friends!

A Italian style bar close by to a hotel complex is sure to be high on a hitlist. butt he location can be deceptive after dark. Curtians draw over the entrance way but your made welcomed by the greeterWe deduced the consumption of alcohol is as such, but eating in area where people smoke isn't that too difficult - The bruschette is cosi cosi but, poor pizza the consistency of flavour was of that starter not the mains

Nice place with good food and service, however the huge downside is the amount of cigarette smoke inside. Inhaling smoke whilst eating your meal is a bit disgusting, and when you leave you smell like an ashtray. Otherwise it's a nice place so it's really a shame.

Well, I have to revise my Goethe review as: the pizzas are fantastic, but stick to the pizzas. I have had a burger and a salad since the last time I visited and I can say that both are distinctly poor-average. The burger was OK, but small and nothing special and the salad that was presented to me was full of yellow cos lettuce leaves with a sweet glutinous dressing and incredibly unappetising lumps of turkey-ham. So stick to the pizza - it's very good!

We had excellent pizza here. The service was friendly, although it took some patience to grab their attention. The interior was very cosy and dark, mainly lit by candles. It seems this encouraged other guests to smoke, which combined with the limited ventilation was a bit of a let down. Their excellent pizza deserves better.

Located in the administrative center of Rabat, close to the U.S Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute, "Il Giardino" restaurant is the right place for you to take a break, sit in the colored and bright terrace and relax, enjoying the amazing italian
We really enjoyed our break from Moroccan food when we ate at Il Giardino in Rabat. After a while, Morocco menus can get a little tiring to even the most dedicated traveller, and my troops were threatening a rebellion. So we made a booking and were so pleased with the result. Front of house Papa plus the wait staff couldn't speak any English, only French and Italian, but we muddled our way through and came up trumps with delicious pastas and really great (and very filling) pizzas.Nice menu with a good range of choices, good Italian wine list and it was nice to be able to sit outside. Seems to be very popular with the expat community. Not a Moroccan in sight!Dodgy fake trees with lights but you can't have it all.
