Punta Gorda's first authentic Italian restaurant and pizzeria. Established in 1983. Simply said "the best Italian food and pizza around". Ask anyone! Voted Best Pizza year after year by the Harbor Style Magazine Readers. Happy Hour daily 3-7pm. Lunch spec
Ordered take-out because the first restaurant we were going to order from closed at 9 pm. The pizza was good and did not disappoint, however, being lactose intolerant, I had to order a sub sandwich. That's where the disappointment came in. The sub selection was very limited - in my experience, most restaurants have turkey subs, but Monty's did not. Will probably order another pizza from here, but that's about all.We always love hearing from our customers, and love hearing how much you enjoyed our pizza. While we have several different sub/hero sandwiches, we apologize for turkey not one of them, âbut we appreciate the feedback. Thank you for the review, and please come back again soon!

Our love for European coffees, pastries, desserts made us open this little gem in the historical downtown district of Punta Gorda. All pastries, breads, quiches and more are made daily with freshly ingredients.
I really like the menu and the way itâs displayed. French food items, Italian, Romanian and Austrian. We chose French and were not disappointed. The service was very good and friendly and the food was delicious. I definitely will return thereâs a whole lot of 'countries ' left to try.

A staple of Charlotte County since 1990. Award winning Pizza and Italian cuisine in a family friendly environment .
took family for dinner, crowded restaurant. Tables are way too close together. Not a lot of seating at all, oh and the flies..... There were a ton of flies in the restaurant flying over our food. When we got out pizza by the first look it looked okay. But when you pick it up to eat it was 100% soggy. Just a nasty crust. Not impressed at all and there are a lot more options in the area to have good pizza.

Several visits in the past, time for a review. Choice of dated seating inside or decent patio, mind you the odd idling car might be around. Menu choices are broad, Italian and Greek.Chicken parmigiana is a favourite. Hot, authentic, and tasty. Salad is fresh. Also had lasagna on previous visits. It's very good too. Tried shish kebab this time. Not on the skewer, interesting. Seemed like stir fry. Portions for price are small so be prepared. Service is friendly.

We stopped by very recently and had a very pleasant experience. The service was good and the food was delicious. My husband had Manhattan Clam chowder and he really enjoyed it. We were served freshly baked bread and was great. We shared a pizza and it was really good. Very good time, good service and we'll be back soon.

Elegantly casual dining, full linens, classy wines and relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy Italian favorites like lasagna, osso bucco, picatta, fresh seafood and phenomenal steaks. La Fiorentina translated means the porterhouse so the signature dish is bistecca fi
Ordered the Ritzy Eggs Benedict. The lobster and eggs were great, however I have to give a thumbs down on the hollandaise sauce, it ruined the dish. Also the server took our plates and then got lost. Took forever to get our bill. Will we go back, maybe but not for breakfast.

Phil's 41 Restaurant serves delicious, authentic Italian dishes and more, just like your nonna use to make! Best Happy Hour in Punta Gorda. Friendly Service. The locals love us!
We had a wonderful dinner! Our first time there, our server (Tyler) answered all our questions and gave us recommendations. My husband loved the Pot Roast, so moist and perfectly seasoned! The Lasagna was phenomenal! We both had a salad with house dressing (blue cheese); my hubby subbed his veggies for a double coleslaw. All was delicious! We rarely eat dessert, but everything else was so good, we did it! The cheesecake was awesome! We were blessed when the owner, Arter, came by and visited. Only one recommendation, and that's to "spruce up" the outside entryway. We will definitely be back!

Although we are into our seventh year in Punta Gorda, this was our first visit. Friends have raved about this place and also mentioned it doesn't have much atmosphere. Who cares? The food was superb. My wife and I ordered the veal parmigiana....she with fettuccine....me with spaghetti noodles. The owner recommended a Chianti to pair with the dinner.....Chianti Classico....and it was perfect. Over the years each of us have had veal parmigiana in many Italian restaurants, but tonight's meal was the absolute best we have ever tasted. We ordered a cheesecake for takeout (absolutely no room left for anything) and will enjoy it later tonight or tomorrow. Along with some tasty veal parmigiana leftovers.

We decided on Italian food this evening and had read much about Italia. It was surprisingly busy for a weeknight, although servers and food runners seemed to keep up with things. My husband ordered chicken piccata and I ordered one of my favorites, spaghetti alla carbonara. The warm bread was served in tiny slices, much easier to handle than the great hunks we often find with Italian bread, and convenient for sopping up the delicious herby olive oil accompaniment. The crisp green salads arrived next. Our entrees arrived piping hot at just the right time. My husband pronounced his chicken piccata with accompanying garlic mashed potatoes as delicious. My carbonara contained peas as well as prosciutto, an addition I had not seen before but which was delicious and done just right. I was disappointed in the sauce, which I found too thin and runny, as well as lacking in flavor. We ordered spumoni for dessert and we were surprised that rather than arriving blended as a single ice cream, it was instead a scoop each of chocolate, pistachio, and cherry. Unusual. The great disappointment of the evening was the inattentive service. It was our first visit, but our server seemed to expect us to order immediately. When we asked for a minute to read the menu, she ignored us for quite a time and we finally had to flag her down. She never checked back to see if things were OK and, in general, paid us little attention. We expected better from a neighborhood restaurant.

Carmelloâs has been a Punta Gorda delight for several years. With their move to a new location, they have become a prime restaurant in town. Their food is delicious and the service is excellent. The sachettini is excellent as is the bada bing. For a special night on the town, Carmelloâs is the place to go.
