We strolled in after a visit at Palapita Tiki Bar - which was a fun place listening to music spin but left when some guy started to play his saxophone and jazzed it up, and driving us out. Going to adjacent Fresh was not an option as the music carried over easily as it's near feet away - -and so La Lanterna was the spot for a pizza sans anymore alcohol. The place was packed, hopping and chaotic. We order a couple of bottles of the house water and about 20 minutes later ordered pizza when a staff member stopped long enough to make eye contact and take an order for a Hawaiana - yes the one with ham - this came with some salty luncheon type meat, soft cream cheese and mozzarella and some fresh piña chunks. The crust was great - the rest so so. 5/10 and not returning.

Excellent casera pasta. Excellent service and a good value. More than pleasant proprietor. Little light on the vino list and the house offering is on the rough side, but again, the pasta is excellent and Puerto isn't exactly in the wine region. All this adds up to a four. But the pizza, while also very good, slipped down a notch as that alleged Serano ham was a new term for slices of a plain old hot dog. So unless tube steak pizza is high on the list, avoid the pie with "Serano" ham.
Pasta, pizza, meat, fish, salads, cocktails. Healthy food. Dj sessions and live music
We had the Mundaka Pizza at this place and loved it! Good price and the restaurant had a good vibe. The wine was good as well and they have some other nice things on the menu. Can get busy after 8pm.
We loved this fabulous place off the main drag in La Punta. Wonderful decor, lovely polished concrete floors, lots of wood. Great selection of Italian food as well as a few Mexican dishes and burgers. Real dishes that weren't cracked and nice wine glasses. We shared an order of calamari (superb!) and bruschetta as appetizers. Entrees were penne with pesto and shrimp; ravioli; seafood spaghetti; and a burger. Everyone was very pleased with their entrees. One tiramasu was shared by the table. I admit I'm not much of a tiramasu fan but this is one of the best I've tasted. We also had a bottle of wine, 2 beer and 4 bottles of water. Total bill was $1240 pesos. A much better dinner and better price than what we've had on the main strip so far. Service was excellent!

We had salad with walnuts, apples and gorgonzola and 2 pizzas, the vegetarian and one with salami & olives, I would highly recommend all of them. Itâs in the details, great sauce, good cheese - good quality ingredients in the right proportions. When I saw the size of the glass of wine (large) I thought it may not be great, but I enjoyed it very much too. Thanks to the cook, weâre in Mexico for 4 months and need a good pizza some times.

The pizza here is dynamite The crust, the sauce, the toppings were all excellent. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the pesto and bolognese toppings were a perfect combination with flavour, sauce and depth. Prices are good for the portions and you wont leave hungry !!

We went to this place because it had great reviews here in trip advisor and maybe this is because as I read, people went to the restaurant section and I guess it is nice there however we stayed in the "coffee place" in front of the restaurant and it was just terrible. First, no one was taking our order, we had to go to the counter to ask for coffee and a desert, the person there did not do a minimum effort to explain the desserts options he just said: "those are the desserts" pointing at the refrigerator. Then, when he finally took our order, we needed to ask again because around 15 minutes later, our order of two coffees and a tiramisu was not ready, we got it around 5 minutes even later. The bar or whatever they call it where they serve drinks was looking terrible, they had dirty glasses up there and no one took them away, it gives the impression of a dirty place and makes you wonder, if they don't take care of what you see, what else could there be happening in the other side of the walls?I would not recommend to go here, will never come back.

Didn't even get my salad clearly written on her bill and the table next to us got a huge ceaser my friends was hlf the size no bread with the pastadear my lady in his table you were in 4 you asked two cesar insale of which one with chicken both were served and you do not come to say that his neighbor was bigger our portions are ugali for all you do not make preferences as far as bread is concerned, we serve it with meat and fish, not with pasta, but it was enough to ask for it. there was no need to attack the maid as she did, even ashamed her husband who immediately apologized for his behavior. the waitress has only made the mistake of putting in his account and not the one of the couple who was with you one of the salads does not seem so serious. not to see each other as a customer, as we prefer not to have one.

Wanted to like this place more but a few things let it down. The service was terrible- staff just standing chatting and not catching our eye. They didnât bring us the complementary bread till we asked 3 times. They then didnât come and ask how our food was at all. The pizza they told us would be the size of a board they brought out and showed us but it was significantly smaller, meaning we were still hungry after a large pizza and a pasta. Finally, the pepperoni on the pizza smelt and tasted strongly of aniseed which meant I had to pick it all off (again, if they had asked, I would have told them). My pasta (prawns with pumpkin flowers) was delicious and the pizza was otherwise good. Just a shame the service and some details let it down.
