This was a unique experience, as the owners (Diego and Karina) are both of Japanese descent! And, as you can imagine, have the most exquisite attention to detail you can find! Quite unexpected! They speak Japanese among themselves (Karina was born in New Zealand, Diego in Argentina!). Worth mentioning because you can speak English, Japanese, or Spanish here without a problem!!! Indispensable in such an international place as Bariloche. Diego told us that he went to Italy to train in pizza making! It definitely worked, we can assure you! We had two pizzas, one with ham, fresh tomato and olives, and the other was a basic cheese pizza (Great for the kids, you know how that is, picky eaters!!!). Both were exquisite!!! Perfectly finished, not a bit too dark or too light, the crust was thin and delicious, all the ingredients were fresh and of great quality. We didn't finish the pizzas there, so we took home quite a bit and the next day we traveled to Chile and carried the leftovers... we had pizza for breakfast the next morning! So nice it was. My wife and I loved it. We didn't have alcohol during our visit, but it is worth mentioning that they also have excellent locally-brewed beers. Even though this is not a pub,you can definitely have some nice beers and pizza with friends in a very cool ambiance. Don't miss it, it is close to the Bariloche "Centro Civico". Nice location! I highly recommend it

Very good, very authentic. This place is both lively and tasty! The service is excellent. My friend and I had the lamb for two. I always forget, though, that Argentines, for the most part, like their meats cooked well. While it was still delicious, I would have preferred it a bit bloodier. Ample side dishes for sharing.

We went there expecting to have a really good pasta and maybe that was the issue. We got a decent portion, reasonable price but very average pasta. The flavors you get probably in any other Italian restaurant.

It's a tourist trap. Plenty of better places around. Won't take credit or debit cards. It's expensive for the quality. Children menu almost nonexistent, same price as full blown dishes.Really, don't go.Estimado ClienteSus dichos no se ajustan a la realidad ya que contamos con mastercard y maestro y además contamos con 3 platos de menú infantil.grs

Beautiful location, charming. Only a few tables. Right on the lake. Book ahead. I canât imagine youâd get a table in the high season. Start with their HUGE salads, especially after a full day of touring. Sometimes the greens truly help. You are offered several kinds of salads options. We had a cheese and a smoked trout. Both were AMAZING. BIG AND YUMMY. Especially if you love your greens. There is a great bread basket served as well. We had a delish beer and had to buy a whole bottle of sav Blanc because it wasnât available by the glass. All ok, it came back to the hotel with us. Lovely wine, decent price. I ordered the parm ravioli with blue cheese and walnuts, he had the spinach gnocchi. I made the mistake of ordering the whole plate, he had the 1/2. We are big eaters, Couldâve just ordered 1/2 portions on both. Simply fab homemade pasta. Would go back tomorrow eve, but we are out of here, heading To Chile. NO room for anything else...so charming wait staff, she spoke English! That did help....

Argentinian meat is world famous. Argentinian churrasco not that much. I have been to Argentina many times but had eaten just a few really good steaks. This is one of them. A no miss if you are in Bariloche. Had the Chorizo steak and recommend it. There are several Boliche de Alberto addresses. I have had in 3 of them and this is the more stylish one. The place is usually crowed so if you do not want to wait arrive at 8 PM, when it opens for dinner.

Family Italian restaurant with inexpensive quality food. However, the environment is pretty charmless so adjust your expectations. The sorrentinas were wonderful as was the Milanese. Great house wine for 54 pesos a carafe. Large portions so suggest sharing. Service friendly and efficient. Get there between 8pm and 8.30pm for dinner or you will have to queue. It is popular with good reason! (Not open every day)

It is an Italian restaurant with Mediterranean approach. Pasta, meat and fish. Classic Italian cuisine with innovations and products of the region. Elegant rustic atmosphere.
....but the best meal weâve had in Argentina. Hands down.Everything about Il Gabbiano is perfect. From the manicured garden, to the wonderful ambiance of the cozy restaurant, these guys have nailed the perfect dining experience.Sure, itâs expensive by Argentian standards but itâs worth every single cent.Letâs start with the perfect service: Spanish, English (and even some French) were all easily accommodated. Our waiter was friendly, charming, engaging, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our experience.Letâs talk food.We ended up going the whole three courses and didnât regret it.It started with delicious homemade bruschetta with various toppings (our complimentary amuse bouche). The accompanying breadsticks and breads were flavoursome and had great texture. For entrees/starters we had a mind blowing tomato soup, and a cold avocado/prawn salad. Both were incredible. Our mains were the fish of the day and a seafood ravioli...oh man were they good! Then we finished off with phenomenal tiramisu and proper ristretto coffee. All of our plates came out fast, fresh and beautifully presented. And before leaving we booked in again for tomorrow night! These guys have perfected fine food and service.

Small family restaurant with spectacular view on the lake. Short menu but every position is well considered and prepared with love. Amazing combinations of flavors. Portion sizes just as they should be! Best burrata cheese and ribeye steak ever, unforgettable taste and feast for soul! We were lucky to visit La Masia twice in 3 days stay and are absolutely in love with this place and its owners creating cozy and warm atmosphere. Every detail is well thought, including well-chosen wine list. We are so happy to discover this place and would recommend it for every foodie!
