At your Wheeling, IL Buca, we're serving up amazing mouthwatering Italian dishes every day for lunch and dinner. Located at North Milwaukee Avenue and North Wolf Road, near the beautiful Des Plaines River, we are perfectly suited for a romantic dinner for
I went to this restaurant this month for a luncheon with some coworkers. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, calamari, spicy shrimp, chicken parm -> all was excellent. Excellent location for Large Parties. The Service was just OK. The restaurant was empty but server was no where to be found and was slow with getting drinks.mlukasik331, we're sorry to hear about the service during your dining experience on your recent visit. Good service but mediocre food. Tables are squeezed together so seating is almost communal. Chairs nearly touch each other and navigating between tables an adventure. Of seven entrees served, three were sent back for reheating. Server was highly apologetic and offered complimentary dessert. Nothing here screams "return" as there are many Italian restaurants available rated higher.

I chose this place after the recent Check Please review. I had soup and the fresh catch sandwich. Both were OK but nothing really stood out for me. Service was good. Maybe my wife and I need to try it at dinner time.

I had assumed this was more of a white tablecloth, refined place. It's pretty loud, including the waiters who walked right behind our table shouting to other servers. But let's start at the beginning. On a non-holiday Sunday night, my husband called for a last minute reservation a few hours away. They said nothing till 8:30. I said that seems ridiculous. So I called from my phone and got a reservation at 5:30. And we didn't need it anyway. We were celebrating so we looked at the wine menu. On one of the lists, it said just "Zinfandel" with no winery name attached to it. I asked server what winery is this and he said it is a red wine. I said I know that. Is it domestic, what winery is it from? He walks away and comes back with a bottle that I knew wasn't a Zin bottle and says this is the wine. I said no it's actually not. Then he got some more help and by then I picked out a bottle that was obvious what it was: B. R. Cohn Cabernet Sauvignon.People walked behind our table to get to another table even though there was an obvious aisle to traverse to other side. Our waiter asked if we were ready to order and we said not yet. Literally 10 seconds later a different waiter came over to ask for our order. I said 'are you our server now?'. He said no we all share the tables. But we never saw that guy again. The food was good. Seemed carnivore-scentric to us. We were also confused by the name, Carlos & Carlos which sounds like a Spanish or Mexican restaurant and, yet, it's Italian. We enjoyed our celebration, but likely not ever going back. Too loud and hectic. Felt no different inside than a chain restaurant such as a "Chili's" or the like.

We ordered a thick crust pizza for take out. Not much sauce on the pizza made it quite dry. It was just 'okay'. They did have the pizza prepared right on schedule for our pick up order that we called in.

Our first time here. Reasonably conversation friendly. Bread comes with cooked garlic spread. Yummy. Enjoyed our salads. Mrs. especially enjoyed her pasta primavera. I had the very large, off the menu special, veal Milanese. Was good but probably not something I would order again next time back. Service was very good.

With a name like Buffalo Grove, it's only fitting that we have a giant buffalo overlooking our main dining room! This location is a full service restaurant and bar, with carry-out and delivery serving Buffalo Grove and parts of Long Grove, Lincolnshire, a

The food is very good here and the staff are good as well. Inside the dining area is a bit tight. I thought the prices were a little high, but I would still come back.
