We live in coastal North Carolina - we are pizza deprived. This was the best US pizza I have had since I visited New York City. The crust was firm, crisp yet had the right chew. The toppings were all just excellent starting with the sauce and cheese. We had left overs and they reheated in the skillet just fine.

The menu was varied and recipes unique. My chicken dish was moist. My friend had the fried rockfish with a salad. The bolognese sauce was reportedly good with fresh pasta.

Walk by this place and decided to try it and man it was soooo good! They have all kinds of different type of pasta for you to choose from and itâs all fresher made in the restaurant. We tried the squid ink tonnarelli and tempura green beans and both are yummy! You can also watch the staff as they preparing the pasta. Itâs pretty cool! They also have a wine if you drink.

Hardly any cheese, tiny pieces of pineapple ( we ordered Hawaiian),ham was barely making a showing....crust was okay-We were disappointed!!!Staff was very good!!I donât think we will give it a second go!!There is so much food in this cool city, well explore down the road,,,, screen door, paa Dee, por que no, le pigeon.... etc etcWe also ordered the roasted vegetables.... mehhhh ( oily messy potatoes, onions were burned outside - very uncooked inside, Asparagus tasted good but something was thrown on top- unidentifiable little white pieces of...... tofu?!!

We were looking for a good Italian restaurant on our recent visit. Our Uber driver suggested we try Nostranoâs instead of our original destination. So glad we listened to him. We sat at the chefâs table and had a fabulous meal. Our waitress was efficient but most importantly the food and wines were fabulous. The ambience is superb and they even have a great patio for outdoor dining. We really love bed the pizza and pasta we chose.

Their starters are great, the pasta was excellent, and the secondi were very good. They had a fig bruschetta that was simple but very well done. The value is also good, a half portion of pasta +/- an antipasto is a very reasonable mean (and most of the half portion plates are less than $20). Their desserts were well done, the Panna cotta special had an impressive burst of passion fruit. I would readily recommend this place to anyone.hi JrgumbyThank you for your review. The entire a Cena team will share it. Pastry Chef Mark comes up with these simple, tasty and elegant desserts

We loved this restaurant! The food was spectacular; the service was professional and almost personal; and all at a very reasonable price. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and really added to the experience. The fact that it is family-owned is quite apparent and itâs as if they are inviting you into their home. But the biggest hit was the food; we shared the Ossobuco and La Gricia, which is pasta in a bacon and cream sauce. Excellent! We had 1/2 bottle of the Sangiovese, which was very reasonably priced. We could have been in Italy for the evening; it was just perfect!!

When we travel to Portland, we often find ourselves coming here - that is when we think ahead and make reservations. Great food and nice atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable and service is great. One in our party had a dairy allergy and they recommended dishes (and even modified some) for her. Can't go wrong with this place.

Chef-owner Simone Savaiano carefully selects ingredients to create authentic, Italian cuisine in an intimate downtown Portland restaurant.
Mucca Osteria is on an old block, tucked away near the library in downtown Portland. The food and service are excellent. Great negroni cocktails. Halibut and corn/crab soup were outstanding. Have been here twice in 2019 and loved it both times. Will be back for sure!
