Attended a work dinner here with colleagues. The place is fairly small and too noisy but more than makes up with this with exceptional service and delicious Italian food, including truly 'classical' baked polenta chips. Our group shared something of a banquet, so we got to try a wide variety of tastings from the menu. Nothing was over-sophisticated. It was basically simple Italian fare, with lots of fresh herbs, done extremely well. Not a cheap place, put as I wasn't paying the bill I didn't pay much attention to that.

Friends got together at this restaurant and we all chose something different. From pizza, salad, boulabaise, spaghetti bol and so on. Everyone was very happy with their choice, great wine was added to the dinner and we had a wonderful night. The service was excellent, there for us when we needed them. Not too pricey and as I said the servings were pretty large.

We read the Brilliant TA reviews and eventually found the 11 minute down a side street off Little Collins St. Itâs a rapid service there hence the title so fortunately tables come available quickly. The salami pizza and prawn salad that we chose were amazing along with the lovely Cabinet offering. Great service from Londoner Ali which was a delight. Do not miss this fantastic pizzeria, fab value at a great price.

Looking for a new Italian in the city we went here based on Trip Advisor's positive reviews.Good looking room that is deceiving from the outside. Light wood and well spaced tables made it a comfortable space.Ordered Rocket & pear salad, Salmon Caserecce pasta and Salumi pizza. Salad and pizza were excellent and good portions. Quality ingredients on all. The pizza base was just right and stayed crispy in the middle unlike many wood fired pizzas were you end up with a soggy middle. My partner enjoyed the Caserecce but found the portion size a bit small commenting that I would still be hungry had I ordered it. Had a good Valpolicella Ripasso to go with it. $130 for the meal with wine being half of the bill.Service was excellent - prompt, friendly, not pretentious or hovering.Worth noting the pasta prices at Da Guido 365 are less than their location in Lygon street.Open for lunch and dinner but closed from 3-6 in the afternoon.Very much enjoyed this meal and will be back ourselves and with friends.

Great little restaurant. Very friendly service and reasonable prices. Mexicana pizza was delicious, not that spicy, though. Gnocchi carbonara was beautifully cooked and not too oily. Fast service.

Fabulous wait staff, Peter, helpful and friendly without taking over, especially since it took us about half an hour to make up our minds. Ordered drinks speedily delivered and after ordering meals were soon delivered hot and tasty. My beef rage was had lots of meat and a generous serving. Dessert was also nice ; the restaurant is ideal for a cheap and cheerful meal.

Ciao Cielo - literally translated from Italian as Hello Sky - is a sparkling addition to the Melbourne restaurant landscape. Situated on lively Bay Street, in Port Melbourne, Inspired by Art Deco elements, Milano sophistication and the glamour of the 40's
We booked the entire Ciao Cielo dining room for a 60 person work event and it was fantastic. We had the most delicious sharing table meals with heaps of variety and everything tasted amazing. The team was really responsive, accommodating and organised. Can't recommend enough, they made our large group lunch a breeze and really enjoyable.

Our 'local' turned out to e a highlight of our Melbourne stay. From the minute we stepped inside this tiny [27 sq m!] restaurant we felt at home. Our waitress, Carolina, was a gem - ensuring always that we had enough water and wine, and were enjoying our food, without ever being intrusive. Everything is made on the premises and served up with Italian music in the background. Just fabulous and can't be recommended highly enough.
Cosi Bar Ristorante since 1996 It is one of Melbourne's food Institutions since 1996. Cosi has perfected the balance of classic and contemporary Italian cuisine.
A well established restaurant name.A well established restauranteur. In fact layout very similar to sister site only bigger. Each wine glass holds one bottle-ridiculous!Service excellent.Extremely noisy.Seating too cramped.Food-my pasta,a ball of glug, six vongole, one empty,main-swordfish thin with three 20 cent tates, two asparagus spears. Both courses tasteless.Tiramisu good.Choc profiteroles (one),tiny.Wine list good on expensive side.We spent $800 for four.Yes,we do drink too much.A expensive night when the food is a fail. There is a oneness with SthYarra restaurants.Cosi needs to do something about the food or people will not return.
