Charming Italian Hotel-Restaurant-Pizzeria in the center of Porrentruy nearby the old town and the castle. Enjoy our tasty home-made pizza, fresh homard-risotto and octopus salad, or delicious beef tartar with the meat from the local butcher.

If you have had pizzas in Switzerland, you will know what to expect. The pizzas we had were no better or worse that others we have had in a variety of locations in this country. Mixed salad starter was OK, lots of chopped raw veg in a salad sauce, There was not much choice in Porrentruy on the evening of our visit and this was one of the few places we saw which had some kind of an ambience. Pleasant surroundings, several other people eating here on a Monday night, but a little pricey for all that eg 12 SFr for a litre of water.

Nous sommes tombés sur ce restaurant un peu par hasard. Il s'agit apparemment d'un établissement relativement neuf (une année) géré par du personnel tout aussi jeune. La serveuse est accueillante, très souriante et pleine de bonnes intentions, mais le manque d'expérience se fait malheureusement bien sentir : difficulté à gérer une salle pleine, nombreux plats indisponibles, ticket de caisse incomplet...Malgré cela, la nourriture reste très bonne et il y a des idées intéressantes pour certains plats, par exemple l'oeuf fraîchement cassé à mélanger soi-même à la carbonara.Je mets donc tous ces petits couacs sur le manque d'expérience du personnel et viendrai certainement à nouveau manger ici lors de mon prochain passage à Porrentruy pour lui laisser une seconde chance. A noter que ce restaurant n'accepte pas les cartes.

After a day of cycling through the Jura, we enjoyed a beer (or two) at this restaurant. At first, there were no other eatung customers, but later more people joined us in the dining area. The food was nothing special, but tasty. The personel was really friendly. Only 2 negative things were the amount of flies inside the building and the fact thattv was on for a 10minutes to watch the news, with the volume really really loud.
