Since 1933 the Bernardi family has been serving Italian & American cuisine. Famous for Mona's northern Italian Tortellini and spaghetti people travel from all over the state for great food, and friendly service. Mike Bernardi's son and daughter have joine
Came here for dinner. Nice and clean restaurant. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Ribeyes were wonderful, as was grilled vegetables. Appetizers were fried mushrooms and onion rings and were very good. Tiramisu was absolutely wonderful for desert. No complaints, would definitely return!!

From gelato, to panini caprese, to sweet potato fries, to wine and more, the owners turned this old Hardees into a trendy, fun, but casual restaurant. Good quality food makes for an enjoyable meal in a nice atmosphere. Their phone number is 815-419-3011
Pontiac is not a Mecca for foodies; so being able to get a reasonable Italian fare was pleasant. Cafe Fontana is not an Italian cafe. It is a utilitarian restaurant without personality but with a friendly staff. One has to order at the counter and they bring the food to the table which is a mystery in un-sophistication because there was plenty of personnel for service who were quite competent and friendly. The pizza we ordered was excellent with thin dough. The bruschetta extremely tasty but, the so called "Mediterranean salad", had dry anchovies and worse the greens were limp, specially the tricky arugula that gets that way soon after contact with the dressing. Pricing was good and the noise level tolerable. The place is better than fast food outlets and more comfortable. Also have alcoholic beverages.

Monical's knows pizza. I have eaten at various Monical's since probably 1972 and this location has never failed to deliver great food visit after visit. Great crust, tasty sauce and always enough cheese to seal the deal. If you want a good night's meal at a more than fair price I suggest Monical's and order the Family Pleaser. I seldom give all 5 stars but while Monical's does have a limited menu they do it all top notch and they consistently do it with a smile and efficiency.
