We have been taking out and taking deliveries from Amigos for over ten years. It is, simply, the best pizza delivery service around. Amigos do offer burgers/kebabs which are OK. But the pizza's are made fresh to order and they surpass typical local delivery through freshly prepared bases and ingredients. We often have people over for parties/BBQ/celebrations and as the night goes on a delivery from Amigos really makes the event.the form won't let me deselect the optional questions below; Amigos is a takeway/delivery outlet.

The Palm Court Pizzeria is an award winning eatery in Whitwood, Castleford. Relax and dine in this beautiful Grade II listed building, designed by Charles Voysey in the early 1900's. This beautiful venue plays host to a lovely dining and drinking atmosphe
We came here as a couple for my partners birthday meal and it was very pleasant. The service was great and the food was fast and lovely. There is quite a small range of wines for an Italian restaurant but you have your core flavours, however value for money on both the food and drink is great. But overall we had a great meal, I would recommend here for groups or couples as there is a lot more room inside than one might expect!

We've eaten here several times now including Sunday lunch and Valentine's Day and can't fault anything. The food is delicious and you can tell it's all homemade and the owners and staff are really friendly and can't do enough to help. We like the place so much that we held my daughters 21st here and the entire night was amazing. There was a fantastic spread and a DJ on and everyone had a brilliant time. I would recommend giving this place a try.

Will never set foot in any Pizza Express ever again after the absolutely appalling service we received today from the chef and so called manager.Rude , aggressive and down right ignorant. Chef refused to make the polenta chips vegan and the manager came over so aggressive he embarrassed himself and us. Shouting at customers shows his lack of management skills. Clearly vegans are not welcome here so we will not bother you with our custom anymore at this restaurant or any other.

We came last friday night before a cinema trip, as we havent been in a while and thought we would treat ourselves. We were seated quickly even tho they were quite bust and had plenty of booking coming in. We ordered a cocktail and coke to start and these came quick. We then ordered meals, a cajun chicken wrap, steak medium rare and a garlic bread pizza. This is when it went down hill a little. I was facing the kitchen and watched as the wrap was placed under the lights and was left and left and left a little longer. Then the steak was placed there and was again left, for about 10 mins in total, they were waiting for the garlic bread. They brought the food out with out the garlic bread but unfortunately I had to send the wrap back as it was freezing cold, like I expected. The steak was ok tho and then the garlic bread turned up before the new wrap did. When the wrap did come back it was amazing, boiling hot perfectly cooked, just beautiful. Worth the wait I suppose but would have liked to have it the first time. We enjoyed our meals and asked for the bill, we were happy to see they had taken the wrap off the bill and an extra discount too. We didnt expect that at all and it was lovely customer service. We will be back mistakes happen and they rectified it and more.

ASK Italian in Castleford is a place for great food and warm service. Think fresh bread made to tear and share. A glass of fine wine worth deserving of your time. Delicious main dishes prepared the traditional way. Everything we know and love about Italia
We booked this restaurant on Sunday afternoon. It was my 1st time in Ask Italian. I am normally trying to avoid chain restaurants, but because we pre-booked cinema in Xcape, we decided to try this one. The place was quite busy and noisy, but probably this is what we should expect in such big leisure centre.Staff was attentive and very friendly, we did not wait too long for our meal. Unfortunately food was disappointing and poor quality. I ordered seafood pasta and it was less than average. Firstly, the pasta was overcooked, it wasn't al dente at all. Seafood consisted of few mussels, few empty clams shells and 1 (one!) calamari ring. No prawns at all. Also I had an impression, the dish was heated in microwave, it was very hot on the top, and cold inside, tomato sauce was dried up on the edges of the dish.I think it was the worst pasta I ever had in any restaurant. Big, big disappointment and I left the restaurant hungry.

Not been for years but still has a good reputation in town. Old school decor, loud and lively Italian atmosphere just right for a Saturday night. Extensive menu. Good prompt friendly service but not rushed. Good quality food, good portions, value for money. What's not to love.
