We happened upon this bar as we travelled north from Lake Garda and Dro. It was located just off the bike path. Facilities were first class. Bike racks and a bike pump! Great cold and hot drinks and good freshly prepared food. Service was excellent. A special mention to the terrific bathroom facilities. Immaculate and everything thought of. Recommended. I came here last week for a wine tasting experience and thoroughly enjoyed it. The lady who gave the presentation was very friendly, welcoming, informative and helpful. We were given a good selection of high quality wines to sample, along with local produce - ham, bread, cheese, olive oil and balsamic vinegar - all of which were of an extremely high quality and very tasty. The atmosphere was comfortable - we were sat at tables rather than standing up for this experience, which was very welcome after a morning of walking around the Christmas market in Trento! There was of course an oppurtunity to buy the products we had tasted, as well as the other products they produced, and I ended up taking 2 bottles of limoncello, 2 bottles of balsamic vinegar (the best I've ever tasted), two bottles of Vino Santo and 2 bottles of another dessert wine home with me. :) I saw in the new year with a glass of their delicious limoncello! I only regret not buying the olive oil as well, but it's an excuse to go back! Also, the advice we were given in relation to the olive oil has helped me know what to look out for when I next purchase olive oil.

In July we (a married couple from Germany) were on a hiking tour about 15 days over the alps from Vipiteno to Lago di Garda. On our tour we stayed in the Agriturismo Maso alle Rose for one night. Fantastic room, nice owners, great dinner. The home-made apple juice and also the dinner, all from own production: very tasty!! Because next morning we walked to the next destination very early (before breakfast) we have got a lunchbox. The home-made breads which were covered very well were very fine. The best ones which we have ever received on our hiking trips. The house in the hazienda style is very cultivated and recommendable. Thanks a lot for your hospitality!

The location is really perfect. If you start hiking in the Brenta very early you look forward to eat there after the track. We have been there 3 times out of 4 possibilities. The pasta various each day and we enjoyed the familiar atmosphere. The sweets afterwards are the best ever. The family is so friendly and explain everything. You can go by feet from San Lorenzo but with the car is much better.

We ate here twice in October and really enjoyed the pizza. As always, the variety of pizzas is extensive. The prices were good as was the service. Will definitely eat there again next time.

We stayed at Il Picchio for one night. The dinner was great: delicious local cuisine in a relaxed setting. Our room was comfortable and clean and had a good shower. The breakfast was simple but healthy. The service was very friendly. The stay was excellent value.

Vast menu choice. (We even tried the dish with slugs and polenta!) Reasonable price for wonderful fresh and healthy food. Ottimi piatti della cucina tradizionale trentina.Staff really really friendly. The environment and view from this "maso" is really astonishing. I would love to spend some days of relax and immersion in the nature in that place one day. Veduta mozzafiato sulla valle delle Giudicarie.

Not to options in this small town but highly recommended to visit this place for lunch time and seat outside.Evening service includes Pizza but nothing beats the surroundings and atmosphere at lunch time.Interestingly enough they speak very good English over there.A must if you are visiting this small town .

We have been coming to Don Pedro's now for three years. We are never disappointed! The pizza is really good, the service pleasant and the prices good. There are some good home made daily specials. Ask what specials the chef is preparing for the day before ordering. Nice atmosphere and nice folks that own the restaurant. Well worth a visit.

Ate lunch here with my wife, my cousin and his uncle. We had a local smoked salami with various local cheeses for an appetizer. For the first course, we had two different types of gnocchi. For the second course, we had local venison cooked to perfection two different ways (grilled and roasted). All of this along with a local red wine. Everything was perfect. Food was very delicious, staff was extremely friendly and the place was packed with people. You must try this very good restaurant in a very small town called Poia just up the hill a little from Ponte Arche!
