The food was very tasty - We stayed at the hotel and though there are other restaurants nearby we decided the eat at il Pomarancino three days in row and was not diaspointed. once. The lobster was the best - and most expensive - but even pasta to 9 ⬠was very very good. The wines are well chosen and the wine of the house was a very positive surprice

Had a completely different meal at Il Pratone...We were there for their noted "Pig Roast" Very rustic eating but the food was extraordinary. We did not go home hungry... The owners were friendly and kept the food coming.. Off the beaten track and frequented by the locals...Has a true Tuscan experience...

We chanced on this restaurant just by driving past and thinking it looked interesting. I think the lack of reviews is because it seems to be a fairly new enterprise. There are outdoor tables on a terrace overlooking the valley, but also in a beautiful old courtyard where we ate, as well as a lovely interior, in what looks to be a converted convent. We had very good (and good value) pizza, and a nice selection of antipasti, also an interesting green apple semifreddo dessert. The service was very friendly - a bit stretched, but I think that's because they're still finding their feet and judging how many covers they can manage, and we were happy just to soak up the atmosphere on our last night in Italy. If we'd discovered it earlier we would definitely have gone again.

Really good pizza at a very reasonable price. L'aqua grande is always a good idea when you have kids and drinks for the bigger people were not expensive either. Good place to eat out for a family on a budget. A family vote landed on a score of four with the slanted tables (sitting on a slanted street) being the only point that they could fault. Not much of a crime really. Highly recommended.

Among restaurants in Pomarance, I decided to visit this one because of the name ( 5 minutes to eleven) and it has been a positive choice. They reviewed typical tuscan dishes with a touch of modernity like ravioli with ricotta cheese and orange, flavored with balsamic vinegar and also the main courses are very good. There are just five or six tables in the dining room, it is very nice and, according my opinion, the quality worth the price. Have a good lunch.

Really enjoyable meal at La Dispensa. Menu is in Italian but easy to read. The taglietta di manza with truffles was without doubt the best secondi plati of my week in Tuscany. Run by two friendly Italian ladies. Very reasonable and in a beautiful location. If your staying in or around Pomarance this is a must!

We came to our hotel at 5 oâclock in the afternoon and looked on Tripadvisor for an advice where to go for dinner. This place was 6 km away so we drove there. A small village with a beautiful castle under which is this small restaurant. Staff spoke English and gave us advice what is good or special. We had a lovely dinner (best antipasti we had so far in Tuscany, ragu, lasagne, beef steak, homemade pasta with deer meat), but the highlight of the dinner was home made tiramisu. Our poor son gave us taste and both, my husband and I, had two spoons because it was so delicious and truly, we have never had a better one. Their lemon ice cream is also worth it. And as the highlight of the night we walked up couple of stairs and got an amazing view of the countryside with sunset. What else to wish for. We totally recommend this place and hopefully, we will come back.
