Looked forward to visiting the restaurant. The first attempt was a Tuesday and it was closed. We drove back the next day for happy hour and glad we did. The pizza was delicious, fresh ingredients and a good variety of offerings. We had the Margaretta with fresh garlic and a version of Meat fanatics pizzas. Both were very good. Outer crust a bit doughy but the bottom was crisp so you could pick up a slice without it falling apart. Discounts on beer selections and drinks. The only question we had after the meal was "where was the brick oven?" . Still a mystery.

There are a bunch of food trucks nowadays. I donât remember this the last time we were in Kauai. In this area, there are a few food trucks and seating. We were really looking forward to ramen, and Naruto Noodles did not disappoint. They have a pretty good selection of food, including ramen, noodles and rice dishes. They even have boba tea!My son is allergic to egg, so he canât have the ramen. But they told me that have rice noodles that they would make in a separate pot to avoid any cross contamination. Overall, they were very friendly and helpful. We are definitely going back here.

Pietro's Pizza e Pasta Poipu is a full-service Pizza and Pasta restaurant open daily from 11am till Closing (usually between 9-10pm), serving up authentic and traditional wood fired Neapolitan pizza, classic NY Style pizza as well as a few others to come.
We really liked their pizza until the last time we went. We had ordered takeout by phone and went to pick it up. This was the third time in a row that they took our order but had neglected to actually make it. The last 2 times we waited there. This time my husband asked to see talk to the owner. Tom, the owner got done with what he was doing and came to my husband. My husband wanted to let him know that this was the third time this had happened and Tom started yelling at him to get the "F" outta here. Then he got in my husband's face and told him he was gonna drop him right there and Tom started shoving him really hard. He kept telling him he was gonna kick his ass and continued to shove him. All because they forgot to make our pizza. We used to eat there a bunch in Lihue and were excited to have a new location so close in Poipu. Sadly, we won't be going here again...ever. I'm guessing they won't make it through December. It's too bad

We had dinner here after being recommended by some locals. Food was very good, we started with the meatball app, which was very tasty, however the cheese plate was quite small for the price. I enjoyed my Veal Scaloppini and my wife her Vongole E Gamberetti dish along with the house salad. We picked up a bottle of wine at the store next door and paid the $25 corkage fee (really $25 for a couple of glasses? But still better than the high markup the restaurant charges.) The service was friendly and efficient, timing of the courses was just about perfect. My only complaint during our visit, and this is not with the restaurant itself, is there were a group with a small child who was screaming at the top of their lungs for most of the time we were there. Apparently the parents think other diners wish to hear their screaming kid. Sort of ruined the overall experience and made us decide not to return.

Donderoâs, will satisfy your soul as well as your appetite. Combining elegant ambiance with stellar service makes this a dining favorite for those with discriminating taste. The menu features Italian classics with a fresh twist including a large selection
We had made a reservation for Donderoâs three weeks prior to visiting the Grand Hyatt, Kauai. We were looking forward to our dining experience. Two days before we were to dine with them, Donderoâs cancelled our reservation without an explanation or alternative. The cancellation was via email after hours and they were closed for the next two days. We spoke with the concierge and they had no explanation. They found out Donderoâs cancelled all reservations for that evening in order to accommodate a large group. We donât believe this is any way to treat potential customers. We were disappointed in the way they handled this situation.
