Friendly funny waiter outside bringing people in, so thought weâd give it a go. Seems the friendly helpful service stopped at the door. I had to ask 3 times for water, food was average served by a waiter who seemed unsure of dishes. I ordered the salmon in marinera sauce I asked what the sauce was and what this came with.. I was told a tomato sauce with seafood in it, accompanied with potatoes and veg, I asked if I could have chips instead.. yes he replied.. what arrived was a white cod type fish (definitely not salmon!) swimming in a curry & coriander type stew with potatoes in it (not chips separately as asked) and a side salad!! I should point out it was a big portion and not terrible but also not what I ordered! I felt like they just gave me whatever they wanted me to have. My husband had chicken & pineapple, this was chopped up bits of chicken in a sauce which was similar to a sweet curry. We were not asked once if our meal was ok or wanted anything else and struggled to even get attention to pay the bill. Wonât be returning!

Visited this restaurant on the last 2 visits to Playa Blanca and it has just got better. Gorgeous pizza, helpful staff, delightful setting, great portions. Wine was a fabulous choice of Spanish or Italian. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Book if you want a table overlooking the marina as these are reserved. We did try to do this but was closed in the day as we had passed. Definitely visit again

First went here along time with my parents and re visited today with my wife. The welcome was excellent, the Italian owner was very friendly. The food was sublime. Best asparagus I've ever had. Pizza was excellent, even boxed up our left overs for us. Only thing i would recommend is either getting draught coke, or larger bottles. Get drunk too quickly! Thank you so much, we had a lovely evening.

First class Italian restaurant. Very attentive staff. The food was excellent. Highly recommend the prawns, baked aubergines with cheese, carbonara. Lovely lunch and highly recommend.

Been in playa Blanca again for 4 weeks and ate here many times. Wonderful family restaurant with Franco, Gissela and Ollie. Lovely staff Cara and Paco and newly adopted catFood is excellent, wonderful pasta dishes, tried most of them. Love the homemade ravioli and lasagne and carbonara. Couldnât find room for one of the amazing pizzas and sampled lovely breads and olives.Wonderful views from the terrace. Make a point of going here you wonât be disappointed just go through the Papagayo centre and itâs upstairs above Burger King or from the promenade. We will be back in April and look forward to seeing everyone again then Thank you as always Franco and Gissela

What a beautiful, small, gem in the coast of Playa Blanca. We visited today for lunch, myself, my husband and our 9 month old baby girl. We had the bruschetta, ragu, prawn ravioli, local wine, pana cotta, tiramisu, limoncellos...all absolutely delicious and overlooking the sparkling sea. So lucky to have found this by looking casually on Trip Advisor! Our daughter had some of her first tastes of delicious bruschetta and ragu as well as a little taste of pana cotta to celebrate her 9 month birthday! The kind waiter even chased us out with her Sophie le Giraffe that we had mistakenly left behind!!Thank you we look forward to returning x

Me and the family , consisting of grandma,nan,Me(dad), mum and two kids 12 and 14. We had meal of the day and pizza's . All great food and wonderful service .price was very resonable . Right next to a supermarket , so well Worth a visit.Thank you very much Andrew!! We are happy that all your family enjoyed with us :)

Dined here recently. Small restaurant. Staff very welcoming. We opted for starter and mains (Lasagne & Carbonara) - absolutely fabulous food, we could easily have been in Italy! Great service throughout our meal with the waiter very engaging with all customers. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

At the far end of a parade of shops with a number of established restaurants from Tapas to Indian, Pizza to Full English... Gusto has carved out a name for itself in 12 months... Run by the Gusto family... and offering an authentic edgy Surfy feel,and a lovely warm welcome. We have tried Brunch, Cocktails and Dinner and always received great friendly service...We left Playa Blanca yesterday and enjoyed a final brunch at Gusto before we left... 4 generations from Nonna Nell at 90 to Marnie Blossom at 9 months all had some delicious, food, not only cooked perfectly but with excellent ingredients. see you next year after another successful year for sure...!

We visited on our last night and it was amazing! The food, the service and the setting of the restaurant was beautiful. I would definitely recommend and return. All the food that was being served looked amazing and the owner was really welcoming and friendly. I just wish we had found it before our last night.
