The food was very tasty and varied. We had a slight misunderstanding and they solved it instantly. Location might not be the best but you forget that quickly because the atmosphere is nice. Feels genuine. Also as someone who always wears shorts and skirts, I was happy about the padding on my chair haha!

The first time we went, we had some great calamari and seafood risotto, and our waiter was lovely. The second time we went we got an awkward waitress who refused to give us a choice of fish, and who tried to misappropriate nearly â¬10 change as a tip. The food was pretty good, but the service on the second occasion was surly, perfunctory and dishonest. Beware. The management need to have a look at who is and who is not representing the business well. The charming and good humoured gentleman who served us the first time was the reason we went back. The miserable dark-haired woman who served us on the second occasion is the reason we probably wouldn't go back.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing! Really nice service, we were not waiting long for food even though it was quite full up. But what was really unexpected was that the burger we've ordered was of the largest size I've ever seen! And damn, it was sooo tasty! And in comparison to its price it's ridiculous. And as a thanks to us, we've been given a degustation of their national alcohol for free. Can only recommend:)

Situated between two top class hotels, this restaurant served wonderful quality grilled fish. The fish was presented complete and de-boned and served by an experienced member of staff. (might have been the boss)Facing onto the square with the ruins of an old church. Reach by road or just alone the Promenade from the Grand Hotel Bernardin, and up a flight of steps

The Restaurant Pavel 2 offers you a wide selection of wines and mediterranean dishes, all of them carefully prepared, using only first quality ingredients. The restaurant is placed near the sea, which makes it one of the best spots in the city thanks to i
The only good thing was the view and not bad wine. Food was obviously made from frozen seafood. Spagheti carbonara almost not eatable. Waiter looking at us as if we disturb him. If we come back to Piran, never back to this restaurant.

Located on the seafront, speciality seafood.. Outside seating with roof that closes. Recommended by the very nice hostel around the corner. Atethere June 2010
Location is perfect, at the waterâs edge. Service was welcoming and friendly. Our disappointment in our overall experience, though, had to do with how our order was handled and quality of the meal.We wanted to order bursara shrimp (with tomato sauce, not the white wine sauce) but the server insisted that the white wine sauce was better. We said we prefer the red sauce. After we placed our order, the server returned to say we should go for the Adriatic shrimp because itâs much better. I asked the price and he said, 'it's just a little more,â so we went for the upgrade. When we received our meal, he delivered the Adriatic bursara shrimp with white sauce. When we reminded him that we preferred the red sauce, he took it back to have it adjusted. By the time my momâs shrimp was adjusted with red sauce, I was nearly done with my meal of fried calamari and shrimp. When we got the bill, we found that the Adriatic shrimp was 30EU and the shrimp we originally wanted was 17EU. I expect a 3-5EU difference, but it was 13EU more! I didn't clarify the cost of the upgrade when our server suggested it, but 13EU is a considerable difference. It's not the cost that's bothersome to me, but the way it was presented as 'a little difference.'Food service was a bit slow (even though the large group before us had already been served) and with the back and forth with the placement and delivery of our order, it wasnât exactly a relaxing experience. Food quality and taste of our meal was just ok.This experience is somewhat unfortunate because this was our only meal in beautiful Piran and IVO was specifically recommended to me.

November-Closed
We dined twice in this elegant restaurant, overlooking Tartini Square. The food is definitely the most refined in Piran - Michelin style. For instance we had a wonderful, delicate risotto one night. But the sole female chef is not supported in the kitchen, and it takes hours for food to arrive. They need to speed things up, or all the hard work in the kitchen will come to nothing.

For one of the best restaurants in Piran, we certainly did not think so. The bread was good and the service was fine. The area was very sticky and hot because itâs in a side street. My parents had risotto with asparagus and scampi. It tasted ok, all I could taste was cream. My brother had the chicken and dried ham and it was ok too. It wasnât served particularly well. I had the tuna steak with spinach and potatoes. The tuna steak was fine but it was overdone, chewy and tasted more like ham than anything. The potatoes were fine and the spinach tasted dirty. Iâm sure there are better options on the menu, but what we had wasnât worth having.

We accept reservations from 11 to 20 only. After 20 we gonna do everything to find you a table as soon as possible.
But what else do you expect? The cold starter (squid, anchovy and tuna) was followed by an excellent fillet of sea bass. Fast, efficient service. Note that wash rooms are up a flight of stairs. Very close to the bus terminal and on the road by the harbour. Feels very touristy - hence only 3 stars.
