Not being that accustomed to real Italian food I was lucky enough to visit this gorgeous little restaurant whilst away with work. All I can say is that every mouthful was incredible and I only wish there was a restaurant like this in England!

On the Superga hill a short walk from the Basilica of Superga is the restaurant of the Bel Deuit. Here, in a rustic setting but cared for, surrounded by enchanting views of the surrounding hills you have a way to enjoy the traditional cuisine of Piedmont,
Ate here w/ family friends on a cloudy day so we had no view of the city as was promised. The service was friendly and prompt. We were treated to an assortment of typical dishes w/ a modern twist. All straight-forward, simple and excellent. Appetizers included a walnut-gorgonzola mouse, a thistle treat under melted cheese (think artichoke), bell peppers w/ anchovies (not quite bagna cauda because no garlic), and risotto w/ mushrooms. The pasta made w/ wine were a little dry. The rabbit and fritto misto were out of this world. Not the fritto misto of Venice - here it includes artichokes, apples and other treats on a savory to sweet scale. Superb wine too - had some real treats from Barbaresco. And, the grissini are not to be missed for those who only get those crappy ones in plastic wrap. A truly wonderful experience.

EXPENSIVE.....Although it was the best fried pizza I have eaten,( Calzone Fritto ).....all other food ordered was nice too, but 12 euros for a focaccia with crudo and burratina was expensive. Also 11 Euros for a plate of penne with tomato and mozzarella sauce was way too expensive. No charge for the "cover" but with the restaurant prices they are more than covered for not adding that fee onto the bill. The first time also that I have ever had to wait 15minutes for a cashier to arrive and pay the bill.

We've eaten here now three times, and each time everything has been top notch. Very fresh piedmontese ingredients with a bit of a twist (not every day you find fresh coriander in Piedmonte). You can sense the love and curiosity towards cooking. We've sampled both seafood and meat and this restaurant can truly deliver both. Stylish, cosy interior and good service. Owner speaks good English. My only wish is that they would start serving lunch menus during the week and the wine list still needs little work...

We recently had one of the best Christmas lunches ever ... at this beautiful Art Nouveau jewel on the edge of Turin's lovely La Maddalena park. The food was a perfect balance of exotic and traditional (including deep-fried almond-coated shrimps, mandarin sorbet to clear the palate, melt-in-the-mouth braised beef), the wines delicious and the service efficient, friendly and accomodating. We love this getaway on the hill. We come for cosy winter brunches in front of the roaring fire and for lazy summer drinks on the garden terrace. Bar food includes sweet and savoury crêpes, the ice creams are home-made (and you can taste the difference), there's a secure car park and a safe play area for children away from the city smog. And the proprietor is like an attentive host, ensuring the well-being of his guests.

The pizza is good, but you must try the risotto di scamorza. It's served in a little cheese basket! It's incredible!!! And also the lemon ice cream, which is served in a lemon!!!!

Locale pulito e gradevole, come detto 27 euro e molta attenzione verso i bambini, aperto venerdi sabato e domenica a pranzo un vero agri e turismo

We were driving out of the craziness of Torino when we stopped by this restaurant. We had no expectations and were amazed by the service and food. The menu was quite rich in flavors and the service just perfect. Anything we wanted was possible to accommodate. They surprised us with kindness and good food so I can only keep good souvenirs of this place.
