Fratello's is an excellent Italian Restaurant. Sal, the owner is from Brooklyn and brings authentic Italian food to the Pinehurst area. We have tasted various dishes but really love Sal's Zuppa de Pesche. The portion is so large that my wife and I share the meal. Sharing a bottle wine with this dish is the best. Sometimes we take some Zuppa home. And yes, Clarence Levine, Sal's piano player and vocal artist is a real treat. He is very talented. Kimberly's service is exceptional and personable. Fratello's is highly recommended.

Inexpensive, fast, convenient, and average sums up this restaurant. The pizza is not bad but it certainly is not great. The price is reasonable. The staff at the front of the restaurant are very friendly but the wait staff are not very personable. If you want something quick and cheap this is not a bad place for lunch but I am sure there are better options in the area.

The afternoon we arrived in Pinehurst we needed some quick food before our tee time. This place was in the mall complex right before we turned so it was convenient. They have good sandwiches and the usual suspects you would expect of a pizza parlor. We ended up getting a pizza there a couple nights later. Good for kids and families. Recommended.

We're Pinehurst residents with a heavy preference for restaurants & bars accessible by golf cart or on foot, so Sal's location smack in the Village center suited us to a "T". We stopped there for a takeout pizza, and would cheerfully have returned for a full meal had the service not been WAY too slow to meet my husband's standards, and the pizza sauce WAY too heavy on onions for my taste. Sal's has since closed, which didn't surprise either of us.
