Alle pendici del vulcano più grande dâEuropa sorge Il bar la pupa La vista si inerpica su per il versante nordorientale dellâEtna!
A truly local cafe bar in peidemonte. The guys are very attentive. Very cold Moretti, cone shaped arrancini and typical Sicilian ice cram

Been there after a trip on the Etna, and I found this place thanks to TripAdvisor. Well, I couldn't have been more satisfied. We were the only people eating there at this moment, so they cooked a bit of everything just for us. They were really nice and welcoming. There was plenty of dishes to choose from, and all were delicious.I do not remember the exact price, as it was last summer, but it was a really cheap considering all the food you get ! Will come again !

The Service was very nice. They welcomed us very friendly. Fresh pizza and Pasta, very delicious. Wine was also perfect. Good value for money. The Restaurant it self is rather rustical but very familiarly.

This is obviously a family run business who don't seem to be set up for tourists - the menus are in Italian only and they are unable to offer any translation as the staff do not speak any English. It's very simple but nice and the prices are really cheap. It only offers pizzas - no other food or pasta. Pizzas range from â¬5.50 TO $8.50. If you are looking for a cheap meal then I would recommend this - they also do takeaway.

Reserved a table of 9 for a Sunday lunch.Very nice place. We had a fixed menu 25⬠entree,first course, main, dessert coffee and drinks.Great fresh entrees, great homemade pasta(pistachio and norma). Great main course with meat cooked on a roof tile.Only negative note is the slow service we waited about 20 mins between each plate.Very clean placeReccomended

A very beautiful place situated in the heart of the East Sicily. It offer the possibility to taste a delicious mediterranean food (meat and seafood) and a lovely pizza. It is situated on the feet of mountain Etna in the small city of Piedimonte Etneo. Gia
There are not many choices on a Monday evening in this area of Italy, it is not a big city so everything is generally closed. This place was open though. It is a bit of a tourist trap I would say. We were entertained by a large group of seniors that got a tour of the winery and served some food. The food was good, we had a great bruschetta and our two pasta dishes were great. The service was also good, no complaints in these two categories. But as I stated it is a bit of a tourist trap and the price reflects it. 2 Pasta dishes, Bruschetta and 2 glasses of wine, was around 45â¬. For Sicily that is a high price. My conclusion is I am sure you can find just as good food elsewhere for less money, but if your stuck you will be satisfied. If two pasta dishes, garlic bread and 2 glasses of wine, was about 45 ⬠are very expensive, I do not know where you've been you but to us it seems a very normal price! We want to point out that we offer only fresh and quality. We are not the simple fast food restaurants that offer junk food; we are a tourist trap, because for us, the tourists are our privileged customers. We try to discover the real Sicilian cuisine, which outside Italy is only the names of Italian restaurants. We look forward to not disappoint your aspettive and to improve every day!

Typical Sicilian pastry Since the 1950s, Caffè Calì has always focused on tradition and typical local products. All products are selected with high quality standards. Also regards the production process that preserves the tradition handed down by the Calì
I stopped by with some friends while touring the Etna. It was a very sweet surprise. The quality of the pastry is AMAZING. Tasty, done with good ingredients and with a big smile. The service is nice and kind. Enjoy

Our family had a most amazing experience at talé restaurant in Sicily. The courses (we had ordered 3, ended up eating 7) were beautifully arranged, perfectly timed and absolutely exquisite. The service was truly most charming. The ambiance and decorations simple and stunning. We highly recommend this restaurant if you want to experience an unforgettable night above the Mediterranean.Dear guest,Thank you for sharing your opinion on our restaurant.Best regards

My friend and I had just finished a long day of sightseeing. We knew if we went back to the hotel, we wouldnât have the energy to go out again, so as we passed through Piedimonte Etneo we stopped and asked some locals where to eat. They sent us here. To be honest, I didnât expect much...but I was in for a surprise. We both has a mixed salad that was fresh and lovely, followed by pasta alla norma. We devoured it! With house wine, our bill was less than â¬30. We went back again one other night and I had the pasta with pistachio. My friend can tell you I ate so much I was miserable. (My bad! I just couldnât leave any on my plate it was so good.) I must say this was the best value for quality on our entire stay in Sicily.Grazie vi aspettiamo ancora per gustare i nostri piatti

This restaurant is not in Piedimonte Etneo as advertised but about 5 minutes drive away. The views are stunning and it is really nicely set out. The reason for the average score was for two reasons, service was really slow and the food portions were quite small. I am aware I have to be careful when saying service is slow because this might be a cultural thing - we waited about 20 minutes from asking to receiving the bill. The cost was â¬80 (including tip) for two mixed grills, two pasta dishes, two soft drinks, two glasses of wine and two ice-creams. Although I give it an 'average' I think if you are happy to take your time and not big eaters then this place would deserve a four star.
