We were happy to discover this little pizza spot for carb-loading before our Mount Batur trek. The pizza (garlic and olive) was perfectly crispy and cheesy. The pasta (penne arrabbiata) wouldnât knock your socks off since it isnât homemade pasta, but it does the trick. A nice intimate space.

First off, what a gorgeous restaurant! It is so unassumingly located in Ubud's alleys amidst the several souvenir and art stores. It really does look like an adorable street cafe in a quaint European city with a really relaxing vibe. Second,they have air conditioning which is a huge bonus in Bali. Third, the food was excellent and drinks top notch as well. We ordered two pastas, both perfectly al dente and well flavored. I was surprised there was only one other party - perhaps they get busier for dinner. Went along tonight swayed by glowing reviews on TA. Seated in quite lovely surroundings, albeit a little stiff and contrived to what would normally suit us. Given menus promptly and our ordered bottle of sparkling water. Considered our options, keen to order cocktails, but no service for such a long time that we reconsidered cocktails and settled on a bottle of wine, but again, no service- waited, waited, looked longingly - then called it quits, which is hard to do when you feel compelled to order and are keen to do so, but honestly how long do you wait before you say âenough is enoughâ. Had a great time in Hippie fish. One of the few places in ubud that serve dinner till 11 pm. Rest all restaurants close at 10 pm. When we arrived there was live jazz music. The fare is mainly continental/Italian. Ordered the grilled tiger prawns platter. It was really great. The prawns cooked perfectly. We also ordered the lobster spaghetti which was quite delicious. We stumbled across this place and it was great. The burger presentation is unlike anything I have seen anywhere and that in itself was fascinating!!! Plus it tasted great as well.The pizza base was thin and crispy and a generous serve for 1 person.
