Still the best Italian restaurant in Paris Tn. Fried portobello mushroom and ravioli for appetizer, great bread and a salad, all complimented my entree of mariner mussels on linguini with a wine sauce. You deserve to try it. You wonât be disappointed.

WOW what a pleasant surprise in Paris! Much better than Olive Garden. Calamari appetizer tasted so fresh. I had chicken alfredo and hubby had stuffed shells. We could not eat it all. Salad and bread were great. Decent wine list and nice sized pours. Bill was about 25% less than what we would have spent at OG.
Italian French bistrò restaurant in a remodeled 150+ years old former hardware store in downtown Paris TN in front of the courthouse. Neapolitan Pizza oven, homemade fresh pasta and pastry, full bar and craft beers on tap. A selection of 50 amongst the be
If you are within an hour of Paris, TN, Stella Nera is a MUST visit/eat restaurant. They offer fabulous Italian and French cuisine on the square in Paris, TN. The restaurant is a new, two-story facility, and open 7-days/week. Stella Nera rivals restaurants in Nashville, Franklin, etc. When you arrive, please ask for Damion (Chef) and Cherish (Head Waitress) - they provide professional customer service and readily assist with menu and drink selections. This was our first visit, but we can hardly wait to return. If you have 4-6 guests, call and reserve table #45 - private room on 2nd floor and overlooking the Courthouse. Stella Nera is a MUST eat/visit restaurant. It is worth the drive. The locals know it! Enjoy!

This is a good restaurant to visit if you are in the Paris TN Area. We recently spent a beautiful fall afternoon sipping wine and enjoying a selection of Italian dishes. The restaurant and wine tasting room for the vineyard are perched on a hilltop overlooking the grape vines and valley below. You can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery while enjoying wine from the vineyard and good food from the restaurant. There were several other couples there and we all talked and had a great afternoon. The appetizers and the fried eggplant were quite good. One of the other couples had chicken parmigiana and the portion size was huge. They said it tasted wonderful. We met the new chef and he was very nice and excited to be working at the restaurant. The restaurant had limited indoor seating so it may not be a great place to go when the weather is not nice enough to eat on the patio. With a few changes it could be a great place. First, eliminate the parking beside the patio. One couple couldnât enjoy the scenery because someone too lazy to walk up the steps from the parking at the bottom of the hill decided to park a large vehicle by their table and blocked their view. Also, 2 groups on loud motorcycles came up and annoyed everyone. Second, donât charge people for water and bread with their meal. We were not told that there was a charge for water. The server brought it put it on our table without asking and then put 2 bucks on our bill for water that we didnât request. Diners at another table were annoyed when their bill came because when their server brought their entrees she asked them if they would like some bread with their meal and then when they got their bill the charge for the bread was over 4 bucks. However, if you avoid the annoying vehicles parking adjacent to the patio and watch out for stupid hidden charges, Ruggers is a nice place to enjoy some wine and a good Italian meal.
