Reviews on Italian food in Paphos, Paphos District, Cyprus. Paphos, the capital of western Cyprus, has some serious historical clout. Site of the vast fourth-century BC Tombs of the Kings, set high on a cliff above the sparkling sea, as well as a dramatic Byzantine castle and fine mosaics, it's also known as the birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite. The population of 27,000 is swelled by a summer influx of beach-bound English, German and Scandinavian visitors. A beautiful old harbor awaits, while modern hotels and restaurants stretch along the promenade.

Just called here on the off chance as most restaurants in the area were full as it was a big European football night. No football here but it did not matter, the staff were extremely welcoming and we had a great night. The food was superb, I had the chicken risotto which was delicious, after asking for the bill we were asked to wait a while whilst one of the staff performed something special outside( I won't spoil the surprise but it's worth watching) we were then given complimentary fruit as a send off and then a bottle of fresh orange juice. I don't know how we missed this place before but will definitely go back when we return to Cyprus next year.

Eat twice here on recent visit with my wife. Service and food quality still very good. Team work well under pressure but do get messed around with very fussy and demanding local customers. All staff were pleasant and special mention to Demetrious or "Mr Kolios" as I prefer to call him. Thanks once again and will see you again sometime in the future.

This is a lovely restaurant serving good quality Italian food. The staff are superb and we enjoyed the complimentary vegetable in tempora batter. My husband had the linguine fruiti de la mer which was spicy with fresh chilli. I had the spinach and ricotta canelonni which was very rich and tasty. We would have preferred half a litre of wine which we have had elsewhere and a full bottle of wine was too much for us. Over all we had a lovely evening and would highly recommend.
