At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don't do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We're all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food. This restaurant is located in the Oracle
Booked in advance on a Saturday evening, we were squeezed into a place where the waiters struggled to get by us.We were upstairs and there was a noisy table, and because of the acoustics, we could hardly hear our conversation. The food was average to poor (seabass very thin and not good), and when part of the desert was missing (no giant chocolate shavings on the chocolate brownie), it was very much a take it or leave it approach from the waiter. The second drink that I ordered never appeared, but they still tried to charge for it.An experience not to be repeated.

At Cozze we aim to provide simple and fresh food with a warm and friendly service in a clean and nicely decorated surroundings. We cater for all ages. Families welcome.
We took my son here for his 21st birthday as the reviews were generally good. We managed to find street parking nearby but parking is a problem and beware of parking in TGI Fridays as you may get fined. The staff were very pleasant and very attentive maybe as it wasnât very busy. We had the platters to start which were both delicious. Everyone was happy with their mains which were plentiful and packed with flavour. The biggest disappointment was an Italian restaurant that doesnât have Tiramisu on the menu. The desserts we did have were slightly disappointing but didnât detract from what was a great evening. Very reasonably priced with good discounts if you look online.

Offering a vibrant, nutritious selection of historic Sardinian recipes and modern Italian dishes, Pepe Sale is an award-winning eatery in the centre of Reading. As well as premium staples like home-made fresh pasta and typical bread and wines, delicious h
An unplanned overnight in Reading and found Pepe Sale as I was staying at the nearby Penta hotel. The food was brilliant: Italian, heavily influenced by Sardinian dishes and ingredients and served by friendly, Sardinians. Justifiably highly-rated on Trip Advisor for Reading.

Homely Italian restaurant with fresh homemade food, only a few minutes of walk from the centre of Reading! Whether it is a romantic evening for two, a casual family and friends "get together" or a business dinner, you will always find something for you in
As the 6th highest rated we thought it would be decent. No qualms with the service, top notch. The wine was fine although it was the second most inferior type, grapes went even listed on the bottle. The calamari was good but expensive. The pizzas are well presented. Even 1.5cm crust and even 1cm tomato puree border. However, they were expensive and pretty tasteless and we didn't fancy eating them. We were offered chili oil but that's masking them. We hoped the place would be great, however we'll skip our anniversary and further thoughts on returning. Wife prefers Papa Gs among others.(I used to have 400,000 TripAdvisor followers, however with gdpr the number is no longer listed)

Quattro Italian restaurant in Caversham offers an excellent range of traditional Italian food. Dishes include freshly made pasta, pizza, meat, fish specialities, and a large vegetarian selection.
Having been in May and we were back in Reading, we felt another visit would be nice and we were not disappointed, the bustling vibrant atmosphere is fantastic and the staff all extremely helpful, the wife enjoyed a huge grilled goats cheese served on rocket with sun dried tomatoes, I enjoyed the Frito misto , although more than 2 prawns would have been nice, Wife enjoyed a big bowl of pasta with pea, aubergine and sauce sauce for main, which was good, I stayed seafood and went for risotto, I felt the seafood selection could have been slightly better, some shell on clams would have been nice and maybe a few more prawns, and I did not get a seafood flavour through the rice, enjoyed it but could have been a bit tastier. We washed this down with 4 large Peroni at £6.75 each, perhaps a little steep for a bistro, but overall a good experience and would certainly revisit.

5 stars for the friendly efficient staff, unimpressed by the uncomfortable stool like chair, warm Diet Coke and unseasoned pomodoro sauce. My main of Goatâs Cheese Al Forno was bland except for the Goats cheese, 3 leaves of the promised spinach and no drizzle of basil pesto!

An independent, family run, traditional Italian restaurant in the heart of Pangbourne. Originally opening in 1980, you can now find this trattoria style establishment just a short distance from central Reading, in Pangbourne.
We go to Ninoâs every week, mostly as family and sometimes as a couple, but always weekly. There isnât another restaurant weâd consider for that. The service is truly delightful - personal, considerate, professional, and unobtrusive. We had the Margherita pizza for the first time this week - why did we wait so long?! It was the best Margherita weâve ever tasted. Enough said. Itâs the best trattoria in England and gives those in Italy a run for their money!
