Ok, there are quite a lot of restaurants on this island, but not many offer a nice selection of sweet and sour menues. The ice is fantastic as well as the sandwiches. The service is friendly and quick. Yes, it is worth a visit.

We went in and even though the place was practically empty, were left waiting 5 mins to be seated, staff were so slow and lazy, nothing being done, when we were finally sat, the waiter put mats down and left us another 10mins with no menus or anything at which point we got up and left. Worst, laziest service I have seen in a very long time, avoid this hole

Visited for dinner on our first evening at Panarea. We both order fillet of beef while flavored the food res wine. We were given a focaccia on the house to share while waiting for our beef. The service is very homely and very welcoming. Our steak was great.... so tasty and cooked to perfection. Personally didn't manage to eat it all as it was quite too big for me. As for desert I took some home made chocolate cake which was simply special. Had a great evening !

I think this restaurant is the best in Eolie because of its delicious food and warm hospitality. I ordered three dishes, which were "Mozzarella alle foglie di limone alla griglia", "Spaghetti alla frescaiola", and "Gnocchi di melanzane". All dishes were amazing. I also enjoyed that this restaurant was filled of beautiful flowers and cute tableware. I'd like to recommend this restaurant to my family and friends!

You have to be careful in Panarea when it comes to food because it seems that a lot of local establishments think its perfectly reasonable to inflate their prices for the tourists. We experienced this at a previous restaurant so we became decidedly more picky about our next venue. We had two starters, two mains, and several glasses of the house wine/water. The pasta with scorpion fish was excellent. They do load up the pasta with garlic so if you don't like this then this is probably not the place for you (we liked this sort of thing so we enjoyed a lot). We also had the pasta with pomodoro and ricotta which according to my wife was also very good. The service was passable (don't come here expecting 5* star service as this is essentially a local mom & pop restaurant) and the views excellent (get a table on the terrace right on the edge as you can see Stromboli right before dusk). The prices are very reasonable, and you don't end up feeling ripped off lile you do at some other establishments near the port. This is good solid Italian food, and I would recommend of you're passing through Panarea.

We ate here on our first day on Panarea. It's the kind of place that you go to for a nice long lunch. We even dressed up a bit. The food is very nice with lots of fresh seafood options. Like most restaurants on Panarea you will be limited for choice if you don't like/eat seafood. I had the swordfish spaghetti with crushed almonds and tomato and a truly fresh and flavorsome octopus salad. Some waiters speak some English and others speak little to no English. The owner is a lovely older lady who knows all the families who have come and gone from the Island and was able to help direct me to the house where grandfather grew up. The prices are reasonable. I thought this was a very special restuarant.

Opened in 1965 by Adelina and Giovanni Tesoriero, the restaurant continues to be run by the Tesoriero family, Giuseppe and his father Giovanni. Here you can enjoy traditional Aeolian food made with the freshest local fish and vegetables from the kitchen g
Excellent seafood, freindly service with a smile, all next to perfection. We felt very welcome and the food was excellent!

Cusiritati gets rightfully into Panarea Top eating experiences, with over 40 years of history. Through the renovations, the restaurant preserved its fairy beauty from the past. The restaurant offers 70 covers, and consists of inner part and terrace.
And the view was stunning. We were on a day cruise to Stromboli with a lunch stop in Panarea. Cusiritati is only a bit of a walk from the pier, and certainly worth the few extra steps. Many of Panarea's restos get very crowded when the boats land for lunch. Cusiritati was not, and we were heartened to see it was where a group of French tourists gathered. The restaurant is on the second floor (American), above the street, and the view out to the harbor and beyond, the sea stacks and islets, really is stunning. The melon and prosciutto were fine, as was the milanese, and the swordfish steak was super. Definitely the place to lunch in Panarea.Dear MarkSherouse,Thank you very much for these warm words. Looking forward to seeing you again !

Delicious home cooked Sicilian food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. This is not a restaurant but a deli where you can sit outside on the patio overlooking the harbour. The staff are very accommodating and friendly and the food is yummy. We had lunch for 2 adults and 3 kids, water to drink and coffee and biscuits for just under â¬50. A delicious gastronomic experience.

If you enjoy your holidays on Panarea donât miss to visit this restaurant ! The food is delicious, the service is excellent and the entire atmosphere is wonderful .You can feel from the very first moment the passion for their food and their guests. My recommendation: try the spicy mussel soup as a starter and the spaghetti carbonara di mare as a main course ! Itâs delicious! We also followed their wine recommendation and were really satisfied. We went twice and enjoyed wonderful evenings at Hycesia. Special thanks to the lovely staff which made us feel warmly welcomed from the very beginning ! Ps Donât forget to make a reservation in advance .
