It was busy, but not full, with quite a multi-cultural crowd for the town of Cabourg. The staff were pleasant and courteous, with a fair grasp of English. The service was good and prompt. The food came quite quickly and was hot (very important to us). The pizzas were great, and I really enjoyed my 'moules et frites'.All in all a great meal and a pleasant evening. Nothing not to like.To be honest, we cheated a little. We looked up the best reviewed restaurant in town, and decided to eat there, so La Casa was always on a bit of a hiding to nothing.Sure, very good, but not great
Une très bonne adresse sur le secteur. Les pizzas sont délicieuses, les tarifs abordables et le patron très sympa. Le bon plan: prendre les pizzas à l'Artimon et aller les déguster face à la mer.
Visited twice with friends during a short stay in Merville-Franceville. The young couple who run it were extremely welcoming and hospitable, producing excellent pizzas, salads and crepes, all served with a smile and some local cider. Would urge you to visit.

We ate here three times during our recent visit and were well satisfied with the food quality. The restaurant is run by Mr Cedric Lemoine & family who were very attentive and helpful. You can take an option of a set menu or a la carte, both are good value for money. If you like seafood, then this is the place to eat, but there are more choices here of other meat options than nearby restaurants. A nice place to eat.

Early dinner here before catching our ferry from Caen. I had the aubergine, mozzarella and courgette pizza, generous flavoursome topping, delicious. My husband had a meat pizza, again plenty of topping and very tasty. Friendly service and would definitely recommend if you are early for your ferry and fancy a pizza.

Bar Brasserie Pizzeria artisanale 100% produits frais, moulerie, frites fraîches, dessert maison, plateaux aperitifs "After work" maison...
Our first visit to La Toscane, a quick dinner before catching the Brittany Ferry night ship back to Portsmouth. Two perfect pizzas, a delicious and perfectly-cooked moules camembert, large carafe of excellent house rosé wine, three desserts, a small bowl of bread, dish of olives, a perfect blend of relaxed, efficient and friendly service: â¬67. Bargain. We arrived at 9pm and got the only free table inside. Everyone seemed relaxed, happy, and enjoying their meals. The place was clean, well-run.Background music was very quiet. Just detectable and just right. Even better, they played Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb"!That's worth a 6th star if it were possible.Access is on the level.Part of the large, (free in the evening), car park is visible from La Tosca. Which gives peace of mind if, like many readers, you have valuables in your car.Nice toilets.Definately recommended, and we'll return.thanks for comments!really!!

Went a bit early on the last night of our holiday. Had some appetisers and cider to start. Was not bad if a little pricey. But the pizza was great. Can recommend the Inferno... was really good. 4 cheese definitely cheezy :). Kids menu I can also recommend as being a good size. Desserts also pretty goooooood! Shame they are only open from seven which I think is a bit late. But all the restaurants were like that.

My second visit this year, this time with four family members and in warm weather. We dined outside by the pedestrian walkway. 3 perfect pizzas on hot plates. One perfect salad.Everything looked great on the plate and was very good value.Delicious bottle of house rosé.Service was so-so, people-watching opportunities aplenty, reasonable toilets, level access, chilled vibe, no annoying music. Very good, we'll be back for a 3rd visit.
