This restaurant was suggested by reception team of Hotel Lokomotive. Within 5 minutes walk from the hotel you find this restaurant in the opposite street. The antipasto and red wine were excellent. I also had nice ravioli truffel. The service was good and professional.

I was impressed with this restaurant.A pearl in Linz town. All the food is authentic Italian, the taste and the presentation is unbelievable. The staff is very professional and friendly with the costumers. The owner Mario is originally from the Amalfi Coast, he knows how to select the best ingredients to give to his costumers! always the best.I would recommend you to stop by and give it a check if you are around Linz town!!!!

I try and eat here at least once on every trip to Linz. My go to dinner is their Ossobuco al Barolo. It is one of the best I have had anywhere. The Bigoli ai Frutti di Mare (mixed seafood over pasta) is very good as well. I have not tried the pizza, so can't comment on those. Service is very quick and the beir is cold and great of course. Prices are very reasonable. Location is right in the Hauptplatz, so very convenient.

We visited the Il Caminetto twice during our stay in Linz for a variety of reasons. First, it was very close to our hotel so once we parked the car in the garage, it was a very short walk to the restaurant - perfect after a long day of sightseeing. But secondly, we visited twice simply because it was that good. The food was delicious and the staff all friendly and helpful. The first night we at inside as the terrace was full but we were able to find a table on the terrace for the second night. This restaurant also seemed to be a favorite with the locals which is always a good sign. Highly recommend

Choosen by ranking in TA and no disappointment. Very good mood, decent wine and service. I had Branzino with potato puree and may recommend it. Maybe a bit dry so some olive oil will make the job.

Well positioned in the market place and a very busy, bustling restaurant. Locals and visitors. The shrimp salad was good and the zweigelt wine is recommended. Friendly staff. You are not rushed even though it is busy.

The food is excellent, The location is beautiful, just near the ferry with a nice view on the Danube. But the service is not good. The staff does not speak very well german, or any other language. The way they handle reservations and seating is not very charming.
