A casual Italian/American restaurant that offers wood-fired oven cooked pizzas and a full bar. Food made fresh daily with local ingredients when available, and a family friendly environment.
Their chicken parmesan is a personal favorite, but they're just not consistent. While my dinner was terrific, my wife, who's Celiac had a horrible experience. She ordered their chicken cacciatore and asked if it was gluten free. The waiter said yes, but when her dinner came out it was served on a bed of regular pasta. They took the order back and then the waiter and chef got into an argument in the kitchen. We sat there fuming over listening to the argument. This was their mistake NOT ours.In the end we cancelled her dinner rather than wait, and while the manager credited my wife's order, she should have just comped the entire dinner. We won't bother to go back any time soon!

Jersey style thin-crust pizzas and authentic home-made Italian cuisine. Casual, welcoming atmosphere with table or bar seating. Wine and Draft beers are served. Delivery service is available
We had wonderful pizza. We ate it at Sal's. It was so fun to talk to the guys while they were making pizzas. It was some of the best pizza we have ever had. The crust was especially good. If you love good pizza this is the place for you!

To believe this little plot of land once held a Taco Bell is incredible. A total transformation into one of the most beautiful restaurants in Sarasota and the food more than follows suit. The dishes are very creative and well balanced. The ingredients are well sourced and everything is homemade. In fact, The Chitarra Alla Carbonara may have reached perfection. Creative artisan cocktails and an extensive wine list. We were well served and well treated by the friendly Andrea at the bar. An added note we came in at an off hour yet the chef executed to perfection. If you come at prime time, consider Uber or Lyft. Parking is a premium and you can have more drinks. Hey Siesta and Casey Key: itâs worth crossing the bridges.

At Mama Leone's, we love sharing our family recipes with our customers. Our recipes have been in the family for generations. Please stop by and spend some time with us.
We hadn't been to Mama Leones for over 10 years & was hoping for the best. Still not to our liking. Most people love their food, that is why they are still in business all these years. We apologize for your less than desirable experience with us. We always like to keep improving, but you didn't share with us what made your visit "not to your liking" so we can make corrections? We are assuming you were not pleased with our way of seasoning or creating sauces? As you know, each restaurant is different and each has their own style. We are sorry that our food is not for you.

How good does a pizza taste after a night of pub crawling? You have no idea until you stop here before heading home! one of the best pizza's in town but certainly not the cheapest. But in a land where a decent pizza is still a better-kept secret than Coke's recipe, you get what you pay for.

Palermo serves up excellent food reminiscent of the NE US. I'm from Philly originally, and my cheese steak ranked up there with some of the best I've had. And the bread (he makes it there fresh every day) was fabulous!

Authentic Italian Restaurant. DINNER AND DELI. Quality and Tradition in Our Authentic Italian Cuisine!
Bologna Cafe ranks among the select few in this area that can lay claim to serving âtrue Italianâ food and ambiance. If thereâs one phrase that describes our experience here it would be âmagnifico!â From the warm welcome of the owners to the moment you leave and a staffer holds the door for departing patrons this is one delicious experience. Four of us ordered a variety of dishes and every single one was beautifully presented and delicately sauced. The artisanal pasta dishes were particularly noteworthy, with flavors that were deep but not overpowering (the Gramigna, a Bolognese specialty deserves special mention). No manufactured spaghetti adrift in red sauce here! The wines, especially the Montepulciano, added dimension to the flavors. Add to that that there is a full bar and easy parking. Our unanimous verdict: deserves a place among the winning few in its category. Pricey but worth it; weâll return, for sure.

We go to Frankieâs knowing itâs consistent and good. Servers are team players and always friendly. I usually do eggplant parm or pizza and enjoy both. My spouse loves the chicken Parmigiana. Wine pours are generous (nothing special as far as taste) and they do have a fun happy hour with beer and wine.

Cafe Gabbiano is the best Italian fine dining experience on Siesta Key! We invite you to enjoy our carefully prepared authentic Italian cuisine and a world class selection of wine.
I went with four of my siblings on the first night of a sibling reunion weekend. Everything was at least very good, and the veal dishes (Veal Parmesan, Saltimbocca, and the nightly veal special with truffles) were excellent. The veal parmesan (a very large bone-in chop) was the best I have ever had. Anywhere. Prices were reasonable, service was excellent, food was authentic and unpretentious. I would return here without hesitation.
