WE went here with friends. It's a bustling big food hall with a great menu and atmosphere to match. Not just pasta but other Italian dishes as well. Two of us had the ox-tail with potato the others had pasta. It was all excellent, good fast service but there was nothing 'fast' about the food, beautifully cooked, nice wine by the glass, friendly staff, comfortable seats, noisy enough and far enough apart to have a private conversation. you can't ask for more. We'll be back.

The food was good but not exceptional. The atmosphere is very nice, As others have mentioned, the service was rushed. At this price point, it is decent value but I will not be returning anytime soon.

Pizza Antica serves a flat wood fire baked pizza with multiple toppings. If you are hungry, this is not the place to go as you will likely eat a whole pizza yourself as they are not too large. The wood fire baking adds a lot to the taste and flavor along with the fresh ingredients.

This restaurant is especially good for special occasions. We shared lattuga (lettuce), sardine, calamari, grilled Branzino, salmon, potatoes, and spinach. Along with a large bottle of Pellegrino and a glass of rose, the bill totaled $190. The restaurant is noisy so when making reservations, arrive early and ask for a table by the windows.

This is a good restaurant for a hearty meal in a casual atmosphere. The burgers are great. I especially enjoy the clam pasta. The pizzas are popular as well. The menu offers lots of choices. This restaurant has been here for a long time and for good reason as they offer a consistently good value. We have eaten here many times. The decor can be described as eclectic.

There are a lot of pizza choices in the Rockridge area, and this is the one that we keep coming back to for take away pizza. It's because the quality is very, very good. Service is sketchy. Some staff are nice, others rude. The prices keep edging up and up. But we like the quality.

When I go out for Italian I don't usually order pasta. At La Piazza I sat at the bar and watched the chefs prepare the meals. It was to tempting not to order the pasta. We were all very pleased. The Rigatoni with sausage was our favorite.

Sugo is slow-cooked meats with pasta. Excellent, large salads. Great panna cotta.Been there half a dozen times, consistent service & quality. Amazing italian wine selection, many by the glass. Packed evenings, get a reso. Or get pastas and sauces ready-to-eat at their bottega on Piedmont.

The experience here is always pleasant, and, the food is fine, it is just not memorable. We have dined here a handful of times and return because it is a convenient location.

I had a medium pizza with double Kalamata olives. It's not easy to make a pizza that doesn't come out wet in the middle, and unfortunately they didn't make it happen. This pizza was a little wet in the middle. The olives were fresh tasting.I can't say I left disappointed, but I was not shocked and amazed.
