Was in town visiting and ordered from there three days in a row. Outstanding pizza!! We had the salad pizza, white cheese and broccoli, and plain cheese pizza. All were delicious and fresh. The cannolis looked incredible but didnât try them....next time! Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Old standby in a town with lots of restaurant turnover. A cut above a red sauce Italian place. Gets crowded early in tourist season - reserve if you can. Good salads, had a nice veal/marsala dish, although meat a little tough. Pasta side perfectly al dente.Reasonable and well curated wine list. Hint - find parking in the bank lot across the street if after banking hours. We must mention outstanding table service - friendly, knowledgeable, quick, even when things got frantic in the place.

We were lucky to get a last minute reservation at Caci on a busy Saturday night. Interesting cocktails to start, great choice of appetizers, and creative entrees made it hard to choose! The heirloom tomato gazpacho with poached shrimp was so flavorful, and I really enjoyed the angel hair pasta with lemon sauce and lobster. My husband ate every morsel of his osso bucco, and said it was excellent. We will definitely go back on out next visit to the North Fork!

Executive Chef Yvonne Contemporary Dockside Restaurant & Bar | Fresh Pasta | High-end Steaks | Seafood | Southold - North Fork, LI
My wife and I had dinner at the Waypoint last Thursday night. Besides being a perfect night for eating outdoors, the location of Waypoint is serene. Just by the shore with boat slips for their customers and a small canal running from east to west with a sandbar just beyond the canal invited you to just sit on the sofas and sip a cocktail. So, what about the food. Fabulous!!! We started with a dozen little neck clams, that were as fresh and chilled as could be, and the charred octopus was perfect, just the right tenderness.( good sized portion ).Next we shared the Sapori di Tartufi (black truffle, fresh prawns, porcini mushrooms, Parmigiano Reggiano cream sauce over pappardelle pasta). It was just right (loosen your belt). We also shared the Chilean Seabasspan-seared, with little neck clams, mussels, trumpet mushrooms, fresh ginger, sherry wine sauce. Cooked exactly the way I like it.Dessert...cannoli's , a sponge cake with a pistachio nut crunch bottom and ricotta filling( was light and rich with flavor). Since it was our anniversary they brought out a slice of super rich chocolate cake on a dish with "Happy Anniversary" in chocolate syrup.John, our waiter, was great, not over bearing but keeping and eye on us.The owners..Yvonne and Andre were very accommodating. The place was full, the whole night (Thursday) but was not overly noisy, probably since the sides of the awning were open.We will be backWe truly appreciate your kind words and feedback Roland! We are glad you enjoyed your experience and we hope you can return soon!

We are a French-owned & inspired brand with a fashion boutique on beautiful Shelter Island and Greenport
This satellite space opened this season in Greenport. It is a welcome addition. They have some very tasty lunch choices. It has a small dining area, and offers some of the nice things from Marie Eiffel's gourmet market on Shelter Island. Great soups!

Was somewhat apprehensive about dinner here last night since weâd heard the menu had changed a bunch since last year. Worry was completely uncalled for though - the restaurant continues to be excellent. We sat inside since it was too windy/cold on the deck. The service was professional as always (a real treat and a departure from the amateurish standards of the north fork). The kitchen was slow in between courses but the waiter came and apologized (unprompted) and bought us a round. Food was outstanding. Polenta with sea scallops super. Whelk salad refreshing. Pasta dish with mussels one of the best pasta dishes anywhere - like being on the Italian coast. My wifeâs fregola with clams was extremely flavorful and filling (and perfect for the relatively chilly night) We skipped dessert to catch the fireworks but overall just a great night. My only hope is that they bring back the fried rabbit with carrots at some point this summer. Weâll be back either way.

We were heading to the other popular pizza place on Main, but mistakenly went into Emilioâs when gps brought us here. So glad it did! We are fussy about our pizza( who isnât?), and everyone has different criteria. Ours is crispy crust but not dried out sauce, and sauce that is not too sweet or heavy, fresh toppings , especially fried eggplant. Emilioâs got it right on all counts including lovely wait staff. Wish they were closer to home.

There are so many great restaurants in Greenport so we avoided eating pizza. However every time we pass this restaurant, the pizza smells amazing and the outdoor eatery is so inviting. Yesterday we decide to have a quick lunch here. We were delighted to find out the pizza is done in a brick oven and they have almost every variety of slices! The pizza was crispy, fresh and very good! My husband had the sausage and the pepperoni pizza and I had the artichoke pizza. It was amazing!!!

This was our 4th visit to this restaurant. We had reservations and were promptly seated. We were greeted by our waiter, Justin, and he took our drink order. We asked for samples to taste of the beer and wine which he graciously provided. Next we ordered fried calamari and clams oreganato which we shared. Both were very good and the calamari was tender and not over cooked. All of us ordered the zuppa de pesce. There was a lot of mussels, clams, shrimp and calamari over linguine. The linguine was just the right amount but the seafood was a nice healthy portion. The wait staff is very pleasant and our waiter, Justin, was exceptionally nice and attentive. Justin is probably one of the best server we have had in recent memory at any restaurant. Justin made our dining experience at Porto Bello very enjoyable. Give Porto Bello a try, you won't be disappointed.

As Greenport lurches toward rebranding itself as Greenhampton, itâs nice to know you can still get a good simple pizza. Although located in the upmarket Stripling Square, 1943 keeps it real with excellent pies, cold beers and good service. The menu has a dozen or so specialty pies with the option of building your own on a red or white platform. FYI, the fennel sausage is excellent. Pizza elites can still get their kale and what not. Caution, the pizza is served hot. The standard pies are 14 inchers, cut into 8 slices. Outside seating is available. Inside is rather woody and dark but will be preferable in the warmer months, kale and other trends.
