There's a double standard on food in this restaurant based on the carbonara on one of my colleague had ordered on two different days. I ordered their Caesar salad, but I got the burned black Color bacon looked like little pieces of rose patel. Poached egg is fully cooked and no runny York at all. Any bar food is so much better than here.

Was invited there by a client on a regular business Tuesday.The restaurant is part of the five star Kameha Grand Zurich, in a business district ten minutes from the airport.Although the hotel presents itself as trendy and posh (I find it rather âfull in the faceâ and somehow ânew richâ), the restaurant, on the ground floor, is neither trendy, nor posh.Itâs actually quite a regular place with a regular design and decoration.The food was good and came in generous portions. I had a creamy mushroom soup (nicely creamy and good taste) followed by salmon ravioli (quite good taste but too greasy a sauce, and not sufficiently subtle for my standards). My client had a nice burrata salad.Prices are midrange.The best thing we experienced in LâUnico was the service. Our waiter was a super guy who even offered me a little âLife is Grandâ expresso cup when I asked him if I could acquire one of these somewhere. Thatâs what makes simple moments in Life memorable.Iâd expect that a five star hotel with a certain flair would have a more amazing restaurant ...

Stopped here for dinner on a hot 30-32 degree day. Absolutely stifling inside. After walking there, we were hot, and asked for tap water as a first request. Wanted to rehydrate, then enjoy the meal and drinks.Stunned to be informed that we could not have it unless we ordered wine.Subsequently, it became apparent that beer or other drinks were ok, as well, but even then, when we ordered drinks, tap water came in a carafe, and we were left with a choice of putting the ordered drinks in the single glass we had or the water?So, difficult to drink it anyway - this just left a bad taste. Never before been refused H20 way. Pizzas were ok, nothing spectacular, except the meat ones, which were literally swimming in grease. In the words of a eat almost anything teen - "I like a little grease, but I don't want to drink it"Nice to have choice of small or large portion, though price difference minimal for size difference. Those who ordered large couldn't finish - it was large.The small pasta was surprisingly very small - but reportedly very goodDecor was quite nice, and service quick and efficient.dont know how it compares to other restaraunts in the area - doesn't seem like there are many great choices, but were not impressed by this one ( after choosing it over another nearby pizza restaraunt based on reviews ( though it still may be better, didn't compare)

What a great good size meal by friendly staffItâs great to find such a friendly restaurant that go to such lengths to please a customer.We visited here on Sun night 9th June 2019 as a 36-person final dinner by the travel company. An example is that I like my meat cooked of âno pinkâ even that was simplicity and my colleague liked pink and his was cooked to his liking.In this restaurant you donât feel crowded in as there is space between tables, photo I have attached a photo of my meal to show the quantity plated. This is a 3.5 rating, but I can't split circles unfortunately. We walked here for dinner while staying at nearby hotel during our recent trip to Zurich. We sat outside and the outdoor space was comfortable. We had gnocchi with gorgonzola and a pasta dish with chicken after enjoying an appetizer of bruschetta. The food was good, as was the service. Prices seem a bit high, even by Zurich standards. This place is worth a try if you are in the area.

A colleague and I visited Al dente for dinner since our hotel was close. We were both happy with that decision.The service was very good. They were attentive, friendly and took care of us throughout the dinner service.The menu has enough food choices to satisfy a group of hungry folks. I had the tuna and my colleague a pasta dish. Although the tuna was a little different than I'm used to getting in the states, it was really good. My colleague thoroughly enjoyed his meal.They have a nice wine list with plenty of wines and prices to choose from so that is appreciated.The cost is not cheap but seemed in line given being in Zurich. I recommend Al dente to anyone craving quality Italian fare. Enjoy!

This restaurant did everything right! Service was impeccable from the start to finish. After drinks and dinner were ordered, bread was served and some focaccia stuffed with prosciutto. After that we were surprised with some brochettes. We noted that all there pasta was homemade and from local ingredients and free range chicken eggs. There were eight of us and all of our meals were superb. When dinner was done another surprise came...limoncello for each of us! We had been on vacation for sixteen days and this was the best restaurant/meal that we had. Congratulations Ristorante Mercato.

This is a really nice restaurant but is a little on the pricey side. Our starters were 26 chf each (see pictures) and my steak around 60 chf. But if you are willing to pay a bit more to have great service and good food this is a good choice - highly recommend
