It was founded in 1834 on the western edge of the Allegheny Plateau, just west of the city of Mansfield. We visit relatives in Mansfield once a year (from California). The first meal is ALWAYS pizza from Leaning Tower. My husband grew up eating this pizza and still talks about it. The pizza is thin crust with lots of cheese. The place is an icon in Mansfield. It's take out only but you need to see it to believe it, so take the trip with whomever is going for the pick-up! I hear the subs are great, too. Have to try one next year!

Cash only first of all... Just need to put that out there but not in anyway a deal breaker. Just a heads up :) Papa's food is always delicious and the staff is super friendly. I love the chicken parmesan and my husband gets the ginormous lasagna... Both delicious! And fairly priced as well.

Stopped in for lunch again this week. Excellent specials, and the food is always fresh, hot & tasty. The bread sticks are better than a well known Italian chain that I frequent. Equally impressive is that the restaurant is clean and tidy, and the service is top notch. Five stars on this one!

Ate here for a quick family meal with my parents as we were passing through. The service was good, but slow. Our waitress apologized as it was apparently busier than it has been. Breadsticks were good as always. I tried the chicken parm sandwich...the sandwich was good, but I thought the choice of fries that it came with was...different. Didn't really care for fries to go with my chicken parm, but that's a personal choice.

We just recently started going here and continue to be impressed. The food is really good and the portions are really huge. The service can be a little spotty at times, but overall very good and very friendly. The italian dishes are amazing. The lasagna is my favorite. Nice variety of choices on the menu. Salads, sandwiches, snacks & pastas. One of our local favs.
