superb homemade meat and spinach ravioli . Excellent attentive service Will return. first visit
Return visit after a few years. Crab bisque was salty, the pierogis were burnt and soggy. Tasteless filling, potato and cheese. Staff was attentive but not enough to make up for the poor quality of the food. Soggy pierogi, must have microwaved them. Give it a pass.
After attending a funeral service at a nearby cemetery, Jerry(owner) and his daughter Jody provided us with a nice venue for the wake. They have a private room that will accommodate up to 100 quests. They prepared a delicious buffet for our group of 35. There are 3 price levels to choose from when selecting the items for the buffet. We selected the $9.95 buffet and were extremely pleased with the quality, quantity and friendly service. There is also a full bar in the restaurant offering craft beer. I can't say enough about the service and friendly attitude of Jody and the hard work that was taking place in the kitchen (Jerry)! I will definitely return to experience the restaurant other than post-funeral. I am anxious to try the pizza, which I've heard is delicious!
We are located inside of the Comfort Inn & Suites. Daily lunch & dinner specials!
The food was fine except for the ice tea--it was undrinkable. Typical bar food. I appreciate a hotel having a restaurant so I don't have to look around for food place when traveling.

The small building that houses this operation looks dreadful and is in need of paint/repair. staff are pleasamt.. Parking is very limited with room for five cars on average,I had heard so much about this pizza . I got two toppings of mushrooms and onions. Toppings adequate as well as sauce and cheese. Sixteen squares with two toppings came to $22.25 cash only.

We come here regularly because Frank is running this restaurant as well as his parents did before him! The sauce is well balanced not too sweet and not salty. The meatballs are a generous size: tender and delicious. My favorite eggplant Parmesan sub is always enough for two meals. Very budget friendly fresh Italian check out the website there's a good blog and some history on the family.

Finding Emiia's Garden is the challenge. We knew to be on Gulf Lab Road, but the sign is very easy to miss. It is close to the corner of Russelton Road, and the only sign is a well-weathered small sign a few feet from the ground. It is worth the trouble finding the place however. Inside, it is an older house, with tables in what was likely the living room, dining room and another room. Service was pretty good despite the fact that one waitress had not shown up, and one guy was taking care of all of the tables. Chicken parmersan, a pasta carbonara, and two versions of their New Orleans dish -- one chicken and one shrimp and scallops -- all were very good. They bake their own bread, something of a large, square foccacia bread was a very good accompaniment to the house salad. Well worth the trip for us, and worth looking for the place.

My wife and I were in town visiting my son and his family. We were wanting pizza on a Friday night and they have eaten Veltre's a couple of times. So, we decided to get take out. You can order pizza by the slice. There were five of us so we picked several different pizza toppings. We also got a 10 piece order of chicken wings. The wings were good, not great. The sauce was very average. All the pizza slices were considered average, a little greasy. As far as the restaurant, it is a small place in a good location in Oakmont. The people there were nice. There are not many tables so it appears they do a decent amount of takeout. The prices were ok, not a great value but not too high.As far as pizza goes, it was pretty average. As far as Oakmont, I can't say how it compares to other pizza places in town.

We had an excellent lunch at Michael A' Restaurant! They have a large variety of Italian entrees! This is a family owed restaurant in which the owners are immigrants from Italy. They cook authentic Italian foods! The sauce is excellent! The restaurant is nicely decorated decorated with pictures from Italy. Enjoyed a great lunch and ordered dinner for my family to go!

Hoffstot's Cafe Monaco provides Restaurant and Catering to the Oakmont, PA area.
I attended a bridal shower at the Hoffstots Cafe. The buffet was excellent. We began with a delicious bread with dipping oil at the table and then we were served a salad with a variety of lettuces with a delicious dressing. The buffet items were hot and very well presented. I enjoyed the chicken Marsala, the lasagna, the rice dish and the grilled vegetables. The service at the buffet table and around the tables was excellent. To top things off, we were offered a wide selection of mini desserts. Be careful, the many wonderful minis soon equaled two regular sized desserts. Also, servers kept the beverages filled and were very attentive to the entire crowd.
