We branched out to explore alternate pizza in the area, but were disappointed by this one because everything seemed a little salty. A chef once told me that overly salty food means the cook is a smoker, so maybe that's what happened. Otherwise, it was all delicious. So if you like your food salty - go for it!

Great quality Italian deli food- this is a hidden gem in Denville center, and it is NYC quality. Has a few comfortable tables by the entrance and the deli behind it. Great soups and sandwiches, and good for taking out cheeses, meats and prepared food. Caution: it gets very crowded on Saturdays so if you are in a rush, leave it if there's a crowd.

Open for dinner Tues - Sun. Closed Mondays. In house catering available as well as food delivery for larger groups. Call the restaurant for information.
Luzziâs has been a staple in the area for the last 37 years. Both an Italian restaurant and a Seafood restaurant it excels in both.Start with a huge house salad served on chilled plates, try to pace yourself with the addictive bread & then enjoy fine steaks, lamb & veal chops, super shrimp & scallop dishes and perfect pastas. Full bar & large parking lot. Thanks so much for the nice words! One correction however, it will be 41 years this year! Hard to believe!

I love pizza and enjoy different toppings and my favorite by far is sausage. Vesuvio's does it right, crumpled sausage that he is very generous on, making the pie very tasty. The cheese just melts with the sausage. Delicious. For got to take pics because I enjoyed it so much. Bummer that they don't deliver, because I think their business would be even bigger.
We have been eating at Tony's for over 10 years on the way to or from our lake house. It's just excellent, but for me the specials are truly special pasta creations that now include whole wheat options. There has never been one I didn't love. The kids grew up on penne a la vodka and graduated to chicken franchese, both of which are so good that they are now comfort food! The salads, soups and bread are perfect and our favorite start to every meal. Everything is wonderful in this family-owned business and we couldn't imagine Sussex County without it and missed it a lot while it was rebuilt after a big fire. Must go!
If you want soggy, wet and cold pizza then this is the place for you. We used to order from here all the time because they were the best in town. But the last two times we ordered the pizza was un-edible. Never again!! Franks is way better or if you insist on having it delivered TJ's is really good also. I've never had bad pizza at either of those places. I don't know what happened to Pizza Station but buyer beware!!

Our friends and my wife and I dined at Guisseppe's this past weekend. We have dined here before and wanted to return to this cozy byob Italian restaurant. The menu is extensive, featuring pasta, beef, veal, chicken, seafood and additional specials. We began with appetizers of a string bean and artichoke hearts salad, caesar salad and stuffed portobello mushrooms. The portions are large and all were delicious. A mixed salad is included with dinner entrees. For entrees, two of us selected the prime rib special, chicken parm over penne and pappardelle with scallops, shrimp and calamari in a vodka sauce. The portions are hugh and everyone loved their dinner. We shared a tiramisu and chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Staff is friendly and professional. The restaurant is one large room that can be a bit noisy. Guisseppe's is a very good, casual Italian that is sure to please.

I recently catered food from Frank's for my son's graduation. Everything was excellent. I had ordered chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks for the kids and meatballs, sausage and peppers, penne vodka, chicken francaise and chicken parmesan as well as salads. Everyone at the party enjoyed the food and many asked who catered. Everyone of the 90 people who attended complimented and had positive things to say about the food. They delivered everything as well.

I've eaten here over many years and different owners. The ambience is lovely being on a lake, it is comfortable, clean and friendly. The wait staff is professional and competent. The menu leans toward Italian and American dishes and is not a NJ red sauce joint. I recently hosted a part of seven and the diners all had something different and every one was very pleased, sharing and tasting each other's food. The wine menu is moderate in size of excellent in quality. My wife who has dietary restrictions was able to get what she wanted and was very happy. My last meal was a red meat delight, unusual for me, but it was done perfectly. I highly recommend it.
